Standard Black, huge steering lock, plate ended RRD.
Modified Naples, lowered on split 5 spoke rims, think the plate started N422.
Also a Kombat kitted green Mk1 non valver parked outside a house near Edwards near the gardens, had some k-tec stickers, plate started R620.
What the 225, I'd safely say the answer it no, at the moment people are trying to put the 2.0 16v 172/182 engine into a Mk1! Although there are a few Megane engines being shoe horned into Mk2's at the mo..
Got my sleek IcyBox 200GB earlier, looks swish, its pretty cool, all you need really is a HDD and a USB adapter thing, it seems to work fine on my dads PC
However it isn't working on an older 1998 PC where I've stored everything, grrr! Have installed the drivers etc, it seems to register that...

Id personally get yourself a Mk1 1.8 16v, also try getting quotes on early Mk1 172s, the older the car the cheaper the insurance will be..

Renault? Few quid, yours traded in and a Renault Sport :) Doubt youll get much extra from the 1.6 16v engine.
Good for 220hp ;) at a cost mind..
Just had a look on trader, theres a fair few if you search for 1.4 S, think they were only made near the end of the line so all 1997
But I beleieve the S Maxim has the same spec and was done from 96-98..
After the Rsi Id say
MK1 Phase 3 1.4 Sport ;) not biased but its the most reliable phase and the S has all the trim of the RSI except side skirts.. better than the granny interior with the RT
buy faster?!
An open IK could lose you power yes, do the obvious, exhaust, decat, then think about better brakes, suspension, always key and of course stripping weight..
Who cares what a car redefines, whether or not it was the first, second or third on the market, its how it goes after all...
