Here are the 2 cars....
The 182
:)
But like has been said, you can get any part of the exhaust, silencer, backbox, tailpipe configuration amended to YOUR requirements...obviously, if you're asking for something stupid, then Charlie will tell you. I know someone who had an MIJ...
Daveski is over in Stapleford and Andy Brown is in Northampton (If I remember correctly)...so you could always meet up and convoy down the A50
BMH.01 is over in Nuneaton as well. :)
Ant, I personally like your car...I'm sure with a bit of TLC, you can fall back in love with her. I would be tempted to buy it for Mandy...but she'd go mental at me buying another car! (See if you can make her fall in love with it at the Breakfast Club next Month if you still have it) ;)
Did you change them for NGK PFR6E-10 plugs? as some people have tried other plugs and its messed up the idle.

Part of this guide "A very important must when doing these plugs is that...
Have had 2 exhausts from Prospeed, 1 on the 172 Cup (stealth) and one on my current 182.
You can get whatever you want (sound wise) and I wanted something which sounded nice when giving it the beans, but also wasn't too bad if pootling around. Stealth is quieter than exposed (as the pipe is...
Its always nicer in Summer...but you're stuffed trying to find anywhere to park. There are some good places to take pics...like by the side of the Severn, or over by the powerstation.
Piece of piss to fit...and if there isn't a Skoda dealer near you, you can use any VAG dealer...give them this part number 5J7 807 061 and they should sort it for you. :)
4 weeks until this. Was going to ask if people fancy doing something in the afternoon (kind of like a Xmas meal or something)?
Could do a run up to Ironbridge, unless people know anywhere else which is scenic and would be a good place to eat. :)
Let me know how you get on as my other half's 1.2 is doing the same... seems to be the change of weather as it was almost non-existent during Summer. Its had another Coil pack in there...I would do the TB, but its on the inside of the engine...and don't want to pull the 1.2 apart as I don't know...
Want to find the right bolt for this...Renault main dealer couldn't even tell me as their dialogys were showing the 197/200 engine and cooling system!
Cheers Ant for doing that, been a bit busy since Tuesday with my Grandma passing away!
We have 6 more spaces left if you know of people who fancy it....:)
I heard that from Fred @ BTM and he knows his stuff. But yeah Jude, 5w40 is the one to be putting in there...just depends on how much you need...if its full oil change you need to purchase 6 litres and will have some left over (think its 5.2 Litres {or thereabouts} of oil needed for full change)
So it was some malicious tw@ then? Although I did chop straight through our cable years ago when I was trying to remove the hedge...had Mand come out of the house saying "Telly's gone off"....smiled, lifted hands (with section of cable in each) and said "This will explain what I've done then...
Not sure if this is the correct section...but its to do with Engine...so hay ho!
Basically, at the bottom of the rear of the engine bay is the heatshield. Now I can move the heatshield as the bolt would appear to be missing and I can just about see where the bolt aligns up to.
Does anyone...
Check the power of the signal strength coming in when the engineer turns up. Ours was like that...it would be fine until everyone starting logging on at say 20:00...then would drop off for rest of night, report to Bangalore and engineer would turn up and it was all working fine. Turned out the...
Its all about the stamp...if you want full Renault/Specialist Service History, then go for that...if you're willing to save money, do the job properly and look after your car, keep the receipts...and make notes of what you've done, when you've done it and mileage, etc and if people can see the...
