The problem is that they need to know numbers for each club in advance. So we can't have 4 people say that they are up for it...and 20 turn up.
Should be okay up to the last week in November...(give 'em 2 weeks notice). But as Daz has said, I've already put my name down with a different...
Was me...was up in Manchester visiting family and my Grandma...was just getting my KK fix before I ventured home. Number plate not quite right....but no biggie.
Got through Drive Thru and thought, there's a 172...and a trophy...and more...didn't pop in as don't know you guys and you'd wonder...
I got ZZ3s on the fronts of my 182...should have held out for the couple of days it would have taken to get the Contis in. They're not bad tyres, but in the wet I have less confidence on those than my old Contis which were just under 2mm tread depth!!!!
Good price, better than budgets, but not...
I still want Josh's Colt...just don't tell him...not that he doesn't already know. I think if the Corsa had tiny steelies instead of alloys, then it would be immense!
I only wish Grant had videoed the VXR being left by the little Colt...bet the owner was wondering why he spent what he did! :race:
As Daniel San has said...scrappy...Clio, black belts...job done.
Much easier...imagine dyeing the belts, then in hot weather, the black stains your clothes, etc...not good!
It could be down to calculation. They were saying that the rollers self calibrated after each run...The only way to get perfect ATF figures is to take engine out and put that on a 'dyno' so that there is nothing between dyno and the flywheel...so there is no drivetrain, no tyres, etc as that all...
Mart, I did reference your work! :rasp: but had a nightmare getting the pdfs up as CS doesn't host pdfs and photobucket will only put photos and videos on there...so had to print each one off to get a paper copy, then scan it in (on the printer's scanner!) and then put the jpg file on...
Coseley used to be good...and they do discounts for more people...so if more than 10 people come, you get 1 person free...so the price of one person would be split and taken off price. If there is more than 30...you get the equivalent of 5 people free...which is around £150 off the total bill...
I know you did...I was just pulling your leg.
There are a few in other areas if one is anywhere near Alcester?
The next W.Mids one will be about 12 months away...may try and start it as an annual event.
I'm toying with Karting for the next one! :race:
Guys, on FB, Viezu have some pics up of the RR day.

You might need to add Viezu as a 'friend', but there are some pics on there. :approve:
The only problem I've got now is after seeing Matt's ITB'd 182, Tim's VXR'd Corsa SRi and Josh's Colt...I want more power. Think I've sorted the air leak out...but its still not enough...I think I need ITBs or BOOOST!!! ;)

At 9am, we were greeted by Bacon Butties...
Dave, I had them emailed to PDF...but I couldn't put them on here as CS don't host pdf files...couldn't install Flashpaper on my computer as install kept failing, so in the process of printing each one out, then scanning it in as jpeg and then attaching image to the overall report/thread.
Bear...
I might scan the pdfs in as jpegs...but it means printing them off to scan them in (not labout intensive and wasting ink much!!)
I've asked Nik how is best to do it...but its on a Word Document which is why it was showing the locally saved temp files rather than what they should be (or what...
Need to put this in the 'wanted' section...this section is just to ask questions fella. :)
If you can afford it, go to Pro-speed in Cardiff (I know its South Wales), but I had one done there when I had my 172Cup...and it made the car sound as it should have done as standard!
For those who are looking on here for results/graphs, I will put them up once I've got the pdf versions, if the pdfs have any registrations I will remove them and put your username in...so you might get a PM asking who's reg is who's on Monday/Tuesday night.
Cheers mate, the end result (meet) made the organisation, emails, phone calls and research well worth it (Also a big Thumbs up for Matt who suggested the place)
Got pic of mine, vid of mine and one of Wocka's car going for it...
Wicked Matt...excellent Pictures :)
You didn't see it on the M54 coming home, some fella in an Astra VXR Nurburgring was gunning it and generally trying to show his car's performance, passed us, then Josh went in for the kill...and was all over this guy like a cheap suit! Blokie dropped the VXR...
the switch? The one on the dash, or the wheel?
If its the dash, its gentle persuasion v.small flat screwdriver to nudge it out (IIRC you can do it with a finger nail!) It is easy...don't worry.
First things first...Thank You to everyone who came today and a HUGE Thank You to Viezu, they were absolutely amazing hosts.
Walked through the door to bacon butties and tea/coffee on tap with muffins provided also, Gerald and Paul were a pleasure to deal with and the lads there were very...
