Thanks to everyone for coming, great turnout today :approve:
Little hiccup with the pub, but next time I'll ring ahead if we get so many attendees and make sure they open up downstairs for us. To be fair it has always been open in the past.
I didn't plan on cleaning my car, but thought I'd just give it the going over but the hose is all frozen up.
Looks doubtful I'll be washing it, dirty faded look FTW
Cheers Dawn :)
Sure, plus £5k my way ;)
I used trays though :S
Unfortunately not mate, I'm fine with the standard parts atm, I'm sick of doing the brakes. Will be the 4th time we have looked at them tonight which is enough for me!
I do really like LY tbh, I wouldn't regret it...
It mat need the suspension doing, so factor in another £400 at least.
Tbf, its still a good price, someone on the Trophy forum is after a good low mileage example and he seems willing to pay up to £7k for the right one.
Anyone tried the cheap ones from eBay? Just for post, since it doesn't do anything.

Little update.
Only picture I have is the polarised wheel bolts, which I finished fitting today :)
The car is incredibly dirty with the snow.
But I've been busy.
With the help on my uncle once again, and his pit, we have fitted the front HC's with DS2500's, the new rear mintex pads...
January winner was Nick_P with the following shot, big well done to Nick
The theme Nick has chosen for February is
Winter Landscapes
Remember a winter landscape doesn't need snow in it, have a search on Flickr for inspiration if you're struggling. This theme is going to take a little more...
Completely agree on getting 4.
I've had my V12's on for a month, not tried them in the dry/warm but in the wet they are much much better than the T1R's. I didn't rate them on wet performance at all, shockingly poor.
To remove the ball joint I used a balljoint wedge thingy, just hit it in with a hammer until it drops down. It looked like a big fork like this http://static.speedwaymotors.com/RS/SR/Product/91089600_L.jpg
I've ordered already mate, coming tomorrow. Did a big order with a mate which made delivery cheap.
Where were you yesterday!
I've got the das6 to start with, and I've also got my uncles too which turned out to be a silverline rotary, weighs a tonne though!
The way I saw it was the das6...
The bridging 1 and 5 is for the ph2 resistor pack, that has a different pin arrangement.
Erm, you may be able to work it out by pulling apart a resistor pack and working out which pins go where but thats maybe not for you?
Maybe send the resistor pack to a willing ph1 owner to test for sure?
Uni students ordering online still get 3 year warranty, I just checked. Its not actually applecare as it doesn't include year 2 and 3 phone support, but thats crap anyway.
Going to be cheeky here and suggest some guides.
For the cleanse and glaze guides, maybe a dedicated 'how to apply' section? (I know its all on DW, but most beginners wont be on there)
And maybe a my first detailing kit guide, do a machine and non machine example specifically for the clios...
Shocking!
I'd definitley be persuing it, can you not use the legal assistance that comes with your insurance to persue them. That might pay for legal advice and an independant professional inspection?
I'll post my list as I'm getting quite excited about it all coming :o /sad
In no particular order:
Werkstat Acrylic Jett Sealant
Werkstat Acrylic Prime Cleanser
Menz 102fa
Prima Amigo Glaze
Blue and White Hex Logic Pads
DAS6 DA Polisher
IronX
Blue tape
And a silverline wheel brush...
It's for the wood worktops everyones getting at the moment, he bought a load of festool cutting equipment at the same time which is superb quality, really nice kit the festool stuff.
Cheers, will see how I get on :)
Has it gone pink or just stopped working?
If it has just stopped working then it could be the ignitor or ballast thats gone rather than the bulb.
Try unplugging the small (think its green) connector for the ignitor which is behind the bulb itself and plugging it in again. If it fix's it...
