pricey tyres

i need atleast 3 new tyres soon for my test is there a good affordable alternative to michelin exaltos.ive used kumho in the past what do people use on there 1*2s thanks.

Rule of thumb, buy the best you can afford.

Hankook V12's are OK. Wouldn't say that are as good as the PE2 though.

Do a search, been covered quite a few times.

Get 4, always better to have the same make and model on each side of the axel and better to be the same age/tread left.

Michelin are superb, expensive but excellent grip and lasted ages on my 172.

T1R were better than Hankook V12 Evo for me. Continental CS3s? I know some people have had them on clios, I've got them on my 330 and they are excellent.

  S4, Tamora, Conti GT
I have a set of Toyo T1r's which to me seem really good, but they did replace a set of Avon ZZ3's which were warped and distorted

Completely agree on getting 4.

I've had my V12's on for a month, not tried them in the dry/warm but in the wet they are much much better than the T1R's. I didn't rate them on wet performance at all, shockingly poor.

Totally agree with this, Dry grip is good with the T1R, but in the wet they are pretty shocking.
