Dads got a Passat 1.9 TDi 130bhp. Gets 59mpg on a town run, even more on the motorway. He does 160 miles a day for work and doesnt have to top up until the weekend, go figure :P
I know there's a place near me, a coachbuilders, they use extra strong tape to tape on the panels of arctic lorries, was wondering if thatd be an excellent idea..?
LOL :o I felt like that!! Do your door bullet badges next :rasp:
Ive had the spray urge alot!!
Done my knob insert, my handbrake insert, my door badges, part of my engine cover, two of my four side strips and my front diamond :o
They look pretty smart :D I've been designated to the cold garage to do mine :( I wait alot less to do things timewise but I give things alot of lacquer!! My rear strips werent coming out perfect texture wise but about 7 layers later of lacquer and theyre pretty smooth :)
Sorry, the colour coded bullets look better than the anthracite ones imo :) !!
Not sure on the clear repeaters, the smoked ones still go with the alloys :)

My favourite quote
"very rare to get in a 5 door"
To me, there's nothing that even resembles a 172 cup  :dead:
Undo all the screws and shove :p
For the rear you have to open the bootlid, undo the two torx screws, get in the wheel arches and undo a bit of the archliners and then the screws underneath the bumper itself.
Same sort of thing with the front bumper.
