Hindsight's a wonderful thing dave! We've all done it I think.
Don't know if I mentioned it before, but my Father in law scrapped a genuine Lotus Cortina for £30 back in the day because it needed too much work to get it going again.
He nearly shat in his pants when I showed him rotten barn...
Menz 2500 is my go to product for that sort of thing. I've never used orange pads though and black pads will be way too soft. Try a yellow and a white pad and see what you get on with.
Just found these on offer, they're 'ok' for washing the car, but for us detailing geeks, they're a very cheap and washable wheel cleaning mit! Just ordered myself 4 of them. :)

What are you going on about?
You asked for advice, I gave you advice, you ignored it.
A generic code reader will not help you to pinpoint the faults your car is having. You are wasting your time and money. If you think my advice is unhelpful then I can only apologise, but it's fact.
So you've asked for advice, i've given you advice, and you've chosen to ignore that advice and do what you were planning on doing in the first place.

It's certainly not worth the grief imo. If you can get £1300 for it as a whole car or £2000 for breaking it, I know for a fact i'd be selling whole!
Take out ebay fees, postage, people not turning up, your...
There are plenty on 160k plus.
A few on over 200k.
Providing they're looked after the F4R is up there with one of the most reliable engines out there IMO.
Dacias are having rust cut out/filled at the import docks before they even reach the showrooms!
Your koleos issue doesn't surprise me!
(On predictive text, kolos comes up as 'joke is' lol!!)
How do you find the poly dog bone keith?
I've only ever tried it in conjunction with solid engine mounts but i'd be interested to hear what it's like with standard mounts.
f**k this f**king piece of s**t forum.
Alistair. He's a member on here. I can't make the stupid tag thing work.
He's your man. Knows a good painter and is very very good at cleaning cars!
