cant answer your original question, but unless your water pump is playing it, dont replace it. It works off the aux belt so can be changed a a later date if needed. Someone else confrim this as im not 100% up to speed witht eh 197 engine).
these are probably the best home router ever sold. update your firmware and see if that fixes it. if not, check the logs and see whats going wrong, it may be another problem with your phoneline etc. IF your replacing, I would buy another netgear like the DGN1000.

have you tested your battery? If its low, it would make the immob play up and would stop the solinoid in the starter working. Also if its low, bump starting would not work as there is still not enougth amps availible to power the ecu/immob.
