    Shock Horror, Sir_Dave buys a Diseaseal ...

Essentially, the inlet manifold has little 'flaps' on it to control the length of the inlet tract on idle - for emissions purposes. Unfortunately, they have a nasty habit of breaking apart & getting eaten by the engine, resulting in terminal failure of well, pretty much everything :banghead...

    Shock Horror, Sir_Dave buys a Diseaseal ...

Yup, i finally gave in. 1st name terms with the chap at Shell was daft really ... Its not that the 330ci was particularly bad on fuel (30mpg), but having to put £70 in it every 4 days was getting a little tiresome  So, research into dervs followed, & having laughed at BMW's epic lack...

    New Daily - 330ci Sport.

Well on Saturday, after 3 months & nearly 6k miles, the 330 was collected by its new owner .... Absolutely fantastic car that cost me nothing but petrol in the time i had it :D Unfortunately, due to my mileage going up yet again, derv was the only real way to go for its replacement...

    My new GTI

Lovely car, the laguna splitter needs to go straight away though imho. The only Pugsport to buy is the 2" as well by the way, rasp FTW. Then Bilstein B8's (Grp N if your uprating the rear ARB), Faulkner 155lb springs, Raceland 4-2-1, Raceland induction, brakes wise 266mm will fit under...

    First car insurance please help

Whereas an intelligent person (like myself), would simply ask my parents to start a new policy, using their no-claims, then put ME as the main driver, with them as 2nd/3rd drivers. Not fronting then.

how often do you "heel and toe"?

Wide trainers. Let side of the foot for brake, right side for blipping the throttle, easy ;)

how often do you "heel and toe"?

Good point, ignore my last post non heel & toe-ers ;)

how often do you "heel and toe"?

I think alot of people need to drive something powerful & RWD. Then barrel into a corner fast, change down without heel & toe/rev matching, and see what happens... Clue? Hedge. Backwards. This thread proves what i always say, clios are easy to drive fast ;)

how often do you "heel and toe"?

Oh its great the 106 gti/saxo vts. In fact its difficult not to heal & toe lol ... Loved the pedal box in them, whilst everyone else moaned!!
  28. Sir_Dave

how often do you "heel and toe"?

Its soooooooo easy to heal & toe in a clio, if you cant do it, you need more practice. Simple.
