I'd assume that its been stuck in a hedge, then built back up as a rep using eBay/stolen parts lol .... no one in their right mind would spend that much money on a minter ...
Probably owes the guys about £5k, but he's seeing if anyone bites ;)
Looks like a shed ;)
Classicsheepflavour bought it off me, not the easiest name to remember lol ...
Not sure if you have any pics of it on the 'ring, so here's one i made earlier:
Loved that car :dapprove:
Was a strong one though, this is when it was standard bar a ktec exhaust...
It returns:
Tuesday 8th February, 9-10pm
Staines Leisure Centre
Knowle Green
Staines
TW18 1AJ
All welcome. Although if you're cr4p you'll fit in better.
Please:
1. Remove the fake cage. If you crash, it will fall apart & go through your head.
2. Remove the 'ring sticker. Unless of course, you & the car have been around.
Other than that, its ok :)
Fair enough.
Whats the settlement on the 200 after such a short amount if time though, surely you're gonna take a huge hit on selling it? Which would pay for a lot of fuel ...
Fill the tank, drive till its half empty, fill it again.
Work out mpg properly.
Saves you running out half way dwn the motorway lol.
Then post your results. You'll probably find that your car is fine, its just that putting in £10 here & there isnt a very accurate way of measuring mpg.
Have you got a quote for it yet, think it cost me an extra £50 if that!! Unless you're a courier driver or something lol ...
Unless you are doing 30k miles a year plus, you wont save much by switching to derv.
Trust me, ive done 25-50k a year for the past 6 years.
At 133.9 per litre, your fuel cost (at 35.2mpg) is 17.3p per mile - so your 33ppm more than covers it!!
You need to be doing less than 18mpg for it to start costing you ... ie if you bought a 197.
Thats only taking into consideration fuel mind you.
Maps via TT forum are about £250-£300 iirc, & a Miltek is roughly the same 2nd hand.
With German barges, im always more concerned about how the cars been looked after/used than mileage. My TT had 93k on it when i bought it, i put another 5k on it in a month (lol!!) and it was perfectly fine...
Book price is £3800 trade, so i very much doubt that lol ...
Essentially, you want a post '02 '3 bar grille' model, they come with the 18" RSTT alloys & 'S-Line' suspension as standard. The earlier ones don't handle anywhere near as well, & dont look as nice either.
Then leave it standard, bar...
Its worth £4k.
Ph1, looks terrible, povvo colour, half leather, etc etc.
For that money, you want a 2004 model, not 2001 lol.
Look back through my old threads, i had a mint 2003 225 coupe in mauritius blue, with silver leather, & sat nav (rare) - i paid 5600.
The adjustable koni's are very good apparently, & if you want lows, just buy FK Konisports, which use adjustable Koni dampers ....
Great setup, Ollie82 & NickAsboShed run them. JamesJMS used to as well, before he moved to the dark side.
I pay £375 for the Trophy, all mods declared, with 0 no-claims.
Living in a good area helps, but having gates to keep out the poor works wonders ;)
Shame the BMW is such a high risk motor. lol.
