i'd love to see the picture of the whole car to see the extent of the damage.... looking at the picture from the rear the exhaust pipes seem to stick out further than a normal 182 as well.....

the car owes you too much to sell now..... unless you've found a money tree at the bottom of the garden i'd say stick with the 172 and find the love for it (de ja vu ;)) either that or refrain from going to meets where there'll be newer, shinier cars than yours ;)
