im also assuming the way the 172/182 drive in terms of the engine revving, etc differs to the...
well, test drove one of these yesterday for the first time.
I was not that impressed with it in black.. always have liked the look of them, but in black... im just not sure.
Was speaking to a guy who drinks in the pub (works for renault), and i am seriously considering a Trophy.. now before...

Just read this topic
I have always been told i have had a strong engine, even before it was put in. As it was Rajks old engine. When Andy @ GDI did my conversion, he also commented on it being a good engine.
Like has been said in this topic, i think the engines vary. I guess im lucky with...
HE HE,
yeh it answered a few of his questions... shame it was a little wet yesterday, but seeing as you weigh half what i do mate, im sure you could pull some good quaters in it when you get it

he he, ahh yes, i even mentioned that too him martin, would defo have willy track if i kept it, and some nice wilwoods to compliment the front.
Cheers smokey ;)
just had wantsawilliams come have a look @ my car... nice lad, and think he has taken to the 2.0 hybrid power
If you are reading this mate, just thought i would post a pic up and for those that know my car, give him some reassurance....
thanks,
Chris...
@ 19 mate i would look at a 16V if anything, thats when i got mine... insurance i think was about £1000.... its not £670 @ 20 :) ...
i would avoid the sport models, as they seem to be higher due to their value - your probably looking near to £2000 insurance.
Well, my current insurer does not have a "STi Type RA" listed on there car list... i have given them the registration number, and all the rest of it, but it simply asks me what car it is... so its obviously not listed???
Its a japanese import P reg STI Type R - and the only options they have...
Ok,
Ill be a newbie to this whole "New Car" scene, but the trophy has tempted me quite a lot, purely because, having a new car will be quite nice in terms of both reliability, and warrenty, and also just having comfort and enjoying driving, rather than spunking money out all the time on fixing...
ohh i knew that blue, i was just saying... assuming you were to mod one in any way, i wouldnt bother, only because i think they look spot on as they are....
feel the same about the 172 cup, and the focus rs, along with the clio v6, all designed in my eyes pretty much perfectly.
if i had a trophy i wouldnt touch it...
only thing i would do is ITG panel filter, and H&S exhaust to release some power.
Other than that, i would leave it well alone.
