just as a thought.... what would actually cause this - i have been told by several people, oil starvation - would this explain temp to rise so drastically?? If it is oil starvation, whats best to check - i had a look at the oil pump and that seems fine! ....Hmmm... Or could it just be...

:D well... it could be ALOT worse... im simply looking at a new set of shells, and then regrinding the crank... obviously do a bit of cleaning up internally, steam wash etc.. and get a new oil pump in there... then we will be away... and if luke is reading this, it will be very much for sale...

Cams arent expensive? - i paid approx £300 or something for cams, followers and verniers. and i would defo say your next best option along with remap...(£500 @ GDI)... a decent S/S manifold will cost you near to £250...
