Which part fella, I'm over in Trench, and there are a few Cups doing the rounds around Telford.
I always wondered if I should have bought a 172 proper, but then if I'd bought a 172, I would have wondered if I'd have been better buying a Cup...so you can't win.
Plus, there is Four Ashes...
The oil was probably low where the sensor was (happens when on a hill and parked up). I had it on the Cup, got oil to fill it up, but it was on full...never had an issue with it and then had oil change several weeks later without issue.
Joys of French cars, but I thought you'd already know...
Doesn't ring a bell...there's a couple of 172Cups in Telford...
I don't know anyone with the new style badges on a Cup though....will need to keep a lookout! ;)
ABS is useless in the snow!
It makes me laugh when I can get my Cup up a hill in a car park in which a scenic keeps wheelspinning trying to do the same thing! Driving properly FTW! ;)
Pop something thin (screwdriver with cloth around) into the space between the bottom of that section and the stereo.
It comes out without too much force, then the 3 buttons (C.locking, heated r.windscreen and hazard switch) have clips on the back which allow them to be removed, reconnected...
You can buy a Wireless N adaptor...http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopDetail.asp?ProductID=3942
Its expensive now, but they're constantly changing price, may get it as low as £17!!!
Fella...even cheaper....just a pain in arse to get hold of! ;)

Its not as easy to set up as a Belkin or Netgear one, but give us a shout if you need a hand...they're not too bad once you get hang of it!.
If...
There is a Chinese company producing N rated routers called Tenda (G+ MIMO provide upto 125Mbps, whereas N provide up to 300Mbps subject to conditions). It cost about £35 so not too silly, N rated adapters are from £25 upwards.
I've just sold a G+ Mimo on here for £12, but the N ones have...
The car keeps going into a stuttering mode and sometimes cuts out with the emissions light coming on. Want to stop this from happening, so having read in a few places that the TB may need cleaning or the coil pack needs checking/replacing...thought it would be easy to get to (like the Cup's is!)...
Cheers guys....why is the 172 engine a piece of cake to get to the throttle body, but the 1.2s aren't!
Bugger, looks like I'm gonna have to make it into quite a job! :(
How the hell do you get to the throttle body on the 1.2 16v engine (2002)?
I can get to the air filter and box, but can't see where/how to remove it.
Any pics would be excellent :approve:
Thanks in advance

Join something like Quidco (they give you money for using certain companies).
Then see who they recommend and how much payback you'll get...it might be better than you realise.
It was recommended by Martin Lewis www.moneysavingexpert.co.uk

Saw 52 plate Cup travelling by the VW garage in Trench in Telford.
Looked to have non-standard front seats.
Never seen it in Telford before...just wondering if you're on here?
You'll have rust on your rear light connections. You'll notice when you break and indicate, the fog light on the dash will show.
Just use nail file to remove rust from connections, pop some WD-40 afterwards...its a common fault, the joys of French electrics! ;)
1.2 52 plate Dynamique, when the car is driven slowly, every now and again, it splutters and the revs bounce from about 500 rpm upto about 2,500 for a few seconds, then the yellow light comes on, then it rectifies itself.
The yellow light has like a spring shape and the graph inside a box...
As said above, they are rebadged Thomson units, and are made to a budget...they fail miserably. Call BT to raise a fault call, speak to 'Peter' in India...tell him whats not happening, then refuse to close the call until they send you out a new one! ;)
