I would spend that on a good exhaust and coilovers (if you havent got them already or course!)
To get substantial power increases you have to spend some serious $$!
If the sigma 120-300 is a bit too steep, then there's the 100-300 f/4. I dont know what they are going for at the moment, but it's an awesome lens!
I have it, and its awesome for motorsport!
EDIT: ^ Beat me too it :)
Nice job, although you'd probably want to put some sort of sealant on your car. AGs EGP is really good, and it just serves as a bit of protection to your paint.
Having just polished the car, you wont have any form of protection :(
I'm going to have my alloys refurbed very soon, but I have a quick question regarding treating them afterwards.
My alloys will be completely refurbed, including spraying. My question is, do they have to be left for a while for the paint/sealant to cure or anything like that after?
So can you...
Very good work! The paint was in a bit of a rough state though, I thought you would take care when washing an Aston, obviously not judging by all those swirls!
So there was a massive difference between sportlines and coilovers then?
Hmmm....when I can upgrade my sus, im thinkin of either sportlines or possible coilovers. If there's that much of a difference, then it might have to be coilies!
I would go for the Nikon, mainly because of the reason you have said. The nikon will have a much greater range of lenses, as you can have Nikons, sigmas etc.
The company I work for has just moved into the Vale Park industrial estate, and Ive noticed (and heard!!) a blue 182 around there quite a lot.
I assume you work there, and I think I followed you going home towards Tewkesbury/cheltenhem.
You on here?
HIC were £720. So we getting nearer. They were really helpful on the phone, and the guy explained that any non-power increasing mods would be free, apart from a £25 admin fee. So if I got an exhaust system and new springs/coilovers, it would only cost me £25!
But is it worth spending an extra...
I doubt it, but its really easy. My Mk2 Ph1 clio just had a plastic cover infront of the speakers, which you just pulled off. The you'll need some torx drivers to get the speakers off.
Yeh it is a bit of a b**ch, and it depends how the wires are connected to the speakers. If its a connector then that's fine, but mine were soldered on. So I had to cut them off and resolder them to the new speaker! Not too easy in a really tight space!
I think Im right in saying all 'door' speakers are 13cm.
Are you fitting new speakers or just replacing them?
If you are upgrading the rears, just wire them up to the existing connections.
^^LOL! Im not quite that bad!! ;)
Greenlight just got back to me = £872!!
Why the hell are directline so cheap?! I keep thinking Ive got my details wrong with them!
This aint looking that promising at the moment!
When I clayed my car, it felt a lot smoother, and it certainly didnt look worse.
You will have to polish after claying anyway, so it shouldnt make too much difference.
Adrian Flux are VERY expensive! Just had a quote back from them - £904!! f**k that for a game of conkers!
Elephant were £769 too!
Why are direct line so cheap lol!
Im starting to regret my decision to go with direct line for my insurance, they are pretty good value (based on my comparisons with other comps) BUT they do not allow any mods at all as I am under 25 :(
My premium with them is £520. And Im seriously thinking of cancelling the policy (which...
I thought for a full correction you would be nearer £40, with another zero on the end!
Might be a bit OTT, but I bet that aint far off if a pro does it!
