I had a go with final finish polish on my 182, and the results were slightly disappointing. Mainly because I think the paint is much harder than the Fords, so will require a more aggressive polish. I order some intensive polish today, and will have another go in a few weeks when the weather's...
Really good vid!
Should be an awesome season, as long as the FIA stop licking Ferraris ass!
It should be good watching the first race, with no idea of who will come out on top!
I used to shoot in nothing but RAW. But I got fed up converting loads of files to JPEG. And when you are at events with 1000+ pics, it can get a bit tedious! So now I shoot in the highest quality JPEG.
If your doing massive posters then shoot it RAW, otherwise JPEG is more than enough :)
Tell me about it lol!
Oh and get a few of these too!

(when they are in stock!)
Out of all the kits, the megs/menz kit would be the best. But you pay quite a bit more for it compared to the kestrel! I cant really comment on Sonus, as Ive never used them.
But if you can afford the Megs G220, then go for it! You wont be disappointed, I got it and im not!
lol! I practised on my mums car too!

I think the paint is a lot softer than the clios, as the final finish polish on my 182 did no where near the same!
I have the menz polishes. If you have a lot of swirls, you might need some intensive polish, as I found that final finish polish didnt really do that much! :(
I think the clio paint is quite hard, hence you need a more aggressive polish.
As for the wax, Im not too sure. I always apply wax by...
I was in a similar position to yourself. I as after a G220, but was unsure whether I should get a kit, or separate products. In the end I decided to get a G220 and just the polishes/pads that I thought I needed.
If I knew what I know now, I would have got a kit, as Ive just ordered some more...
Yeh Im ordering some IP tomorrow :) And will have another go when the weathers a bit better. I'll be in the garage, but it'll be fekin cold in this weather!
Curley, you might be better off with this: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_203947_langId_-1_categoryId_165495
On the top of the grey spray can, it suggests using a grey primer, rather than the white I used. But I cant see it...
Yeh I was going to use primer etc to fill the scratch. But tbh, its not that bad now the spray has filled it in a bit :)
Im in the process of spraying my boot badges now, so all my badges will match the colour of my alloys when I get them refurbed :)
I'll post it up in the guides section now...
From a person whose come from a 1.2 to a 182, I cant see how you can possibly say that a 1.2 is fun! I know thats stating the obvious, but I found the 1.2 to be slow, and the soft suspension just killed any sense of fun :(
As stated somewhere above, get a RS and you'll soon see what I mean!
Yeh I couldnt be assed to touch up the scratches before I sprayed lol.
I just got the back one off earlier this evening, I followed a guide that is on here somethere. Tbh, it wasnt very hard at all. The only tricky bit is the fact that the rear diamond is plastic welded onto the boot!
Oh, and...
As I was bored today, I decided to respray my front and back diamonds. Im getting my alloys refurbed soon too, so this was a good test to see if the colours would look good on the car. As the alloys will be refurbed in graphite grey, I sprayed both diamonds in this colour too :)
Ive posted it...
I use this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/chemical-guys-new-look-trim-gel/prod_143.html
Ive only used it a couple of times, but it looks really good when applied and it lasts a long time too. But bear in mind, in this weather, black tyres arent going to last forever!
