For EGP, I use the perfect polishing cloths (from AG) and, as above, just work in straight lines. And dont be tempted to put too much on either :)

I used it for the first time last week on the 182. Ive never used wax before, but it certainly seems to be doing what waxes do!! Very impressed, and all the kit that comes with it is really handy too!

I may be wrong! Its just that after a while, the pad was really 'clogged' up with polish. So I thought I was using too much.

I think it'll be a while before I polish the 182 again. I did a full detail the other week, so it wont need doing again for a while. Plus Im getting tired of cleaning a car, then using it once, and it looking crap again! Damn crappy weather!

Yeh, I can certainly appreciate that now! I dont think it will make a significant improvement on my 182, as there are no major swirls on that, but I will still look forward to seeing the results!

I know how you feel, especially with black paint! I was worried at first, but as I was using a final finish polish, I wasnt really worried about destroying the paint lol! I will be a bit worried if I ever use a more aggressive polish though!!

I use AG glass polish, and it works fine. But I havent got any scratches, so I wouldnt know how it performs with regards to that. I would have thought AG glass polish would remove any water marks etc on the glass!

I was thinking about doing that too. As my car is Arctic blue, I was wondering how the sticker would fit with the car. It looks good though, but I would have probably put it on straight! :p

It is possible to hose your engine bay, I havent done it personally, but Ive heard of loads of people who have. Just double check exactly what needs covering etc before you do it!!

As long as you keep it in a sealed container/bag then it should be fine. Also, check its not covered with crap, as you wont want to reuse a dirty clay bar :)
