OCD....I think I have it!!!

Since I can't make any mods to my car (insurance :(), the only thing I can do is clean it!! So this had lead to an ever growing collection of products!

First draw:
14 bottles of various Autoglym products. I nver intended to have this many, but when I heard the valet case thing was half price at Halfords, I had to have one!

May not be much to some people, but I think I've come a long way from a bucket of water and a sponge!!

I think I've finally decided to get a Megs G220 too, so that will be added soon!

Oh yeh, one more thing I need:

SOME DECENT FEKING WEATHER!!!!!

Yeh my bad
Im still not sure what all these acronyms mean! Whats the general one for machine polishing? DA?
random Orbital polisher mimmicks the movement of your hand and is alot safer to use on your car (IE if your a noob) but takes longer to correct and doesn't correct to the same level as a rotory. Rotorys are normally used by experienced people (IE your good with a random orbit polisher so upgrade) The most common one id say is the megs g220 or kestrel :)

Nice collection you have there! :)

soon you'll have empty pockets and running out of room! ;)

lol! Well Ive cleared the garage out ready, so after I wash my car its having its first full treatment. SRP, EGP, wax, interior, wheels....the lot :)
I clayed it a few weeks ago, so I doubt I need to redo that again.

But this weekend is going to be the decider for whether or not I buy a Megs G220. If the SRP gets rid of the minor swirls, and the car looks the dogs, then I'll probably give the G220 a miss.

I'll let you know what I decide :)

SRP will primarily mask the swirls temporarily though so that is not the best gauge as to whether they really are gone.

I've not long finished my weekend car cleaning session!
I wont bother to post any pics, it would just be the usual clean car pics.

Most of the very minor swirls have gone, and there's still some left, but nothing I cant live with tbh!
So I really dont see the need for a DA machine!
I applied wax for the first time, and it looks so sexual! So I cant see what difference a DA will make.
My main reason I dont think I'll get one is because, I'll get it, polish the car, then I wont need to do it again for another 6-8 months!
Thats a lot of money for something that will be used so infrequently.

I think I'll stay with what I have for the moment :)

The only way you will see the benefit of the machine polish is to get a panel polished and compare it to the unpolished one.

how much did the drawers cost you for all that?

I need somewhere to put all mine really, i just dump them on a shelf at the min and its getting overloaded with new stuff!
