What's the best way to tidy up these marks?

I suppose one advantage is that I could choose what colours I want the wheels. I always think black looks pretty neat, but Im not sure on mine Original: Photoshopped: I really like my alloys at the moment, as they're sort of a dark grey, and not bright silver. How can I find out the...

What's the best way to tidy up these marks?

I guess I could give it ago. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?!! I assume I would obviously have to refurb all 4, as I would never get the colours to match? How hard is it to do? Ive had a look at the guides, and it looks pretty straight forward. But then I have NO diy experience, and I...

What's the best way to tidy up these marks?

Pics of my front alloys :( So instead of paying over £100 to refurb both alloys, whats the easiest way to tidy up these marks myself? As you can see from one of the pics, one of the previous owners has tried to fix them by putting some sort of paste over them, which makes it look worse...

Yeh it is pretty scary thinking that almost £2000 worth of camera is held on my literally nothing! (vacuum!)

What made you choose your Rs or Clio ?

Because a Clio RS or Civic Type R was my dream car that I wanted to own at some point :) The RS is cheaper than the CTR in every way, running and insurance + tax etc. Colour wise, it was either arctic blue or yellow!

    Night driving

With mine, the camera was stuck to the car using a suction mount :)

    Night driving

I had a lot of fun doing these AGES ago now. They're not the best pics in the world, but I had just started out in photography then so I was a beginner!

    New to this - advice

Im not too familiar with the entry level SLRs, but I would recommend either a Nikon or Canon. Have a look at the D40, which I think is the cheapest Nikon. I dont know what the equivalent canon is as I know nothing about canons (apart from they're not as good as Nikons! :rasp:)

Re: Cliosport Photography Forum "Photo of the Year 2008" All my decent photos are older than 2008 :( This is probably my best of 2008, I think! ENTRY!

    172 or 182? Help, I can't decide!

I looked at a 172 cup. But then I saw a 182 (FF) and fell in love. For me the mod cons in the 182 are an added bonus, and its a newer car anyway. My opinion, --> 182FF :)

    ITG Panel Filter for 172

    - Different people will tell you different things, I havent noticed much difference with mine :) - Depends, I think K-tec sell them for about £55. - Incredibly easy. Have a look at the guide for cleaning one, as it shows how to get one out. - Thats up to you! :)

Best front disc and pad combo??

From what Ive read, the grooved arent significantly better, but If you can afford it then yes.

Cleaned and 1st mod of the weekend...

It'll probably be just under the bonnet, near the wipers. See where the triangle is pointing? It'll probably just behind there.

Cleaned and 1st mod of the weekend...

I really dont get the stickers (I know what they mean btw!). If it looked more like a track car then yes, possibly. But on a standard car, no. Especially considering you dont have the cut off switches!

    Centre cap removal - 182

I had to ask this lol. Im not really embarrassed, because at the end of the day, I know nothing about machanics :( Better to ask than to break them imo!

Burning rubber in a 1.2! I wish!!

    Got Recaros?

Recaros rule! I love mine to bits! No more falling out of my seat like I used to in my clio 1.2! And they're are A LOT more comfortable than I thought they'd be!

    Corbone Lorraines Thumbs up

lol! I think I may get the ferrodos instead :) I was only curious because the CLs are about the same price.

    Corbone Lorraines Thumbs up

How noisy are they? Ive heard they squeal like mad! Also, as these are more aggressive pads, wont they really wear down the standard discs?

    automatic headlights

If you had them, they would be mentioned in your manual. And if you do, I think it tells you how to manually turn them off.

    Nikon Owners - which flash?

Ive got the SB-800. Tbh, I cant remember what the main differences were between the 600 and 800 (apart from the price!) The 800 is great though, cant fault it!

    172 for trophy or 182

I didnt think there was much difference between the trophy and the 182 (FF). I know the trophy has recaros, but my 182 has those. So what the difference between a trophy and my car?

So what do I buy to clean my car?!

Good on ya! I paid my 10 to read a few of the guides, but I have benefited from a few other things too!
