That's the car I was thinking, not yours obviously.
The wife loves Africa Alive - always pestering me to go when we're visiting the folks.
Jesus - did you get the new leads fitted and/or did the misfire reoccur? Were you thinking the reduction in MPG was connected? I ask because I have somewhat similar symptoms, and I hate it when people don't close their threads! :)
For me, I've been waiting for a full frame Nikon at a sensible price for years. It's getting better, but still £1400 is too much - my car isn't worth that.
That's the reason that I stick with APS-C, but I really don't want to. I've been a film shooter for years before digital, so amassed a nice...
Take it back to the garage and ask them? Read this thread and you have all the answers of what to do if it is the dephaser that needs changing. Good luck.
This is what happened to me (and what I reported above).
This is why I replaced all 4. They were all original and so nearly 12 years old afaik, and I guess from the results after, one of the reasons old(er) cars lose performance.
Spotted these two coming from Gisburn on the A59 on Sat 6th April about noon. Caught up and thought you might like a little play but I guess not.
Didn't see any CS stickers and not entirely sure you were both driving together TBH.
Megane looked well but not a fan of the 200 especially - from...
I know this is probably not a massive help, but search on here for similar problems and I'm sure you'll find something else to consider investigating.
It's also very worthwhile joining up as a member and posted a 'hello' in the new members section.
Good luck :)
I had an intermittent misfire that was down to a failing injector - this was replaced with a second had one. A few months later another (different) injector started doing the same thing. I replaced all 4 and the car felt a lot better to drive and definitely had more power, it honestly did, so I...
Yeah I know Gally, and by your own admission you drive like Miss Daisy. TBH, if I was the OP, I'd rather have the opinion of somebody who pushes their car a bit.
I got 13k miles out of the last set of Spec 2's, which for the price I think is pretty good.
What are the V12's like in comparison to the Spec 2's and PE2's, in your opinion?
Re: My PH1 172
That looks superb - don't sell!
Wish I could keep my ph1 in half as good condition as that, but being a daily, and black, it's impossible.
Also, I get the age and wanting something more grown up too. I'm staring down 40 and keep looking at R26's, but know I would miss the 172...
Got this, never played any of the others. TBH it's both great and rubbish. Opening mission (trainer mission) is breathtaking. The menus are awful. Controls are confusing. Not as good as RDR. Loading times are quick (a personal bugbear). Not sure I would recommend it - don't have much conviction...
