not watched the vid yet, so excuse my ignorance, but i'll say this. If the drivers are racing at high speed through residential areas with no regards to other's safety, they deserve everything they get. If it was a tragic accident then ignore my comments.
Had some fun with this badboy over the weekend. Some images are quite heavily processed, and theres even something for the HDR boys...
Love the lens, creates some cracking images and is suprisingly sharp. Its heavy though, Crap in low light, hunts like a right b*****d! some images are from...
what exactly did you expect it to do? They won't "improve" a crappy image, just use it for deeper blue skys and to remove reflections from water etc. I'd say that it has served its purpose in the image above?
not quite sure what i'm looking at?
surely its just a lasso round the car pasted onto a blank background with some feathering and tweaking of contrast etc?
picked up a D50 (body only) today, looks in mint condition, and the guy has really looked after it - not bad for £160. Only thing i'm not keen on is the smaller screen and the zooming method using the scroll wheel. Its pretty big, and a lot heavier than the D40. The auto focus motor is noisy...
i just get bored of the same people posting 900 photos a week of their cars in slightly different positions....
plus i'm at work, why else would i be moaning?
:rasp:
really don't see the point in having a full detailing job like that at this time of year. 1 trip down the motorway and that car will be filth again. Wait till summer and it'll last longer and look far better!
I'll be making a purchase shortly, not sure whether to go for a sigma 10-20mm for my d40, or to sod the lens and upgrade to a D80. Main reason being the lack of auto focus on the d40.
Other option is to "downgrade" and get a d50, which will auto focus with my 50mm f1.8 and get the sigma too.....
