I am utterly clueless, happily admit it! I worked it out in the end, but knowing how easily the injector snapped and costing me £60 to fix, I wanted actual info instead of me ripping it out!

Worked it out!

So removed the feed, undone 2x10m bolts. How do I undo each electrical connector bit mate?

Done step 1, I was trying to pull the tube off, I didn't realise the plastic bit was like a release.

That was another day.. had it on the jack and my drive is a slight hill, and it pinged. The cable was goosed anyway. Struggling to get the feed off, it just won't pull! And I'm scared of snapping something else.

So.. oil change done. Only had my toolkit since xmas, and I've already broken a handbrake cable and an injector!

No mate didnt try as no way of getting to him. Got the oil filter off after stabbing it, moving it a cm, stabbing it, etc etc. Gonna try and get the injector off so that its ready to fit tomorrow.

I'm in, still cant get it off. Im retiring

Am I being stupid.. how do you manouvere to get a screw driver through the oil filter? Its pretty solid!

Is it still safe/okay to drive on 3 cylinders?

Had to order for next day delivery, working tomorrow then it'll be dark!

Right just bought the injector.. hopefully manage to fit it before dark! Cost of this injector I should have just paid for the twatty oil change!

Doing an oil change, emptied the oil, trying to get the oil filter off and ive caught this wire which I know is connected to the fuel rail, and a tiny bit of fuel sprayed out. Has this unplugged or snapped? Thanks.

RPD sell it as part of their service kit, so may sell individual bottles, but hurry as they are stopping posting oils soon. I bought this from RPD, hopefully fit it in an hour or so!

Just comparing part numbers? Yeah course! The bloke on the phone for RPD was pretty certain that the 172 ones and 182 ones are different because of different part numbers, but I trusted @MicKPM haha. No way I was paying £48 per side.

2004 onwards should have grey inserts I believe. 172s have black. (Im 99% sure)
