Tbh, I'd try and get some compensation and then draw a line under it.
I'll be honest I've never heard of them as a local Bristol renault specialist and I live in Bristol.
We used to have Sjm before Dan shut up shop.
Ive started to build a relationship with a local Bristol independent who does...
Looks like a French Scooby with the gwald rimz..
I like it, stands out.
Everyman and his dogs loves the turinis but it's good to see some variation once in a while.;-)
@mossyv6
Yes mate.
Just niggles to be sorted.
New tyres needed soon.
Left rear pads stuck on so sorting that tonight/tomorrow hopefully!!!
Soaked the bolts tonight as one of them ain't budging at the moment.
We'll see tomorrow.
Trying to source some r26 alloys too.
Still loving...
Lovely car. I know what you mean about the polarised bolts, they look nice on the screen but on the car is a different matter.
Only one way to find out I suppose..
Couldn't help but notice you live in what looks like a lovely area.
What I mean is some cars either do it for you or they don't.
Ive got two mates that had two iterations of one series and they just do nothing for me.
But I drive an orange megane so what does that say!!!
Just my opinion but there is nothing memorable about the one series.
Doesnt matter what spec it has they all look the same, bland.
Each to their own though and as long as you love it that's all that matters.
Might struggle to get much response mate.
I tried a few times to organise a meet up but the last rep was a bit non existant so nothing ever happened.
But anyways I'm from Bristol too.
Be happy to come along in the future when my house project is finished. Barely get time to keep the car...
Had a omp trecento uno in my old clio cup and have a he suede version now in the megane.
I personally love the 300 mm size, gives me loads of control. Get the polyurethane or leather versions though as the suede is a pita to keep clean.
Fitting is easy. Bit fiddly but easy. You'll need some...
Owned this for six weeks until some diesel was spilt on a wet road shortly before I arrived.
Opposite locked for what seemed like an eternity but alas hit the concrete pillar in the background and it was game over.
On the way to work at 5am, still made it in by 8am.
Clean the contacts in the rear cluster. This is what it was for mine and most other clios since.
No pad wear gadgets on old clios, just good old fashioned corrosion!
Not connected on the cups. Though prone to corroding and removing the ability of brake fluid reaching the callipers!
Mine did just that two years ago. About £80 from Ecp for a new one.
And they confuse most MOT ers. The rears do about 30% braking on a Cup iirc so rarely record much in the way...
Guy in work had 15 plate gtd with dsg and chopped in in less than a month of having it.
Didn't gel with it and the mpg was crap. Which most dervs are unless you just do motorway munching.
Our galaxy is a sitting on 35.5 mpg mixed driving and the meg 225 is at 27.6. I know which one I prefer...
Dog bone polybushed looks like this.
About £45-£50 on eBay. Check out the for sale section too as people sell em on quite often.
Would recommend the purple ones as the black ones can cause some cabin vibration.
Easy enough job to do. About an hour or so. Put them in the freezer first as...
