Gave her a wash and winter wax.
Collinite 895 used as I like its oiliness. Took a while to buff due to the cold weather but worth it.
Dressed the tyres too as they were looking a bit discoloured.
I enjoy working nightshift.
Quieter at work, less morons about. The commute is better as I tend to be outside the rush hours traffic which means I can have more fun...!
My shift gives me an eight day block at home every month which is brilliant for family life.
They are right sometimes these women. It's a great second family car. The galaxy does the big journeys with all six of us but the meg is great for everything else.
Never get bored of the induction noise and the decat crackles!
Make sure you do the short shift mod if not already done...
Nice buy.
Keep the spoiler. The rear looks naked without them.
When I eventually stop spending money on the house I plan on one for mine. Along with a few other bits and pieces.
Welcome back to megane world. I'll buy this one of you for the same cash as the inferno if you get bored......!! :-)
Fair point. I've been a Sony man since the PlayStation one so struggle with change...
The other thing that swayed me in the beginning was it was an entertainment centre ie dvd blue Ray player. Plus the ps3 had free online play too.
I used my old Cup as a daily, 14 miles each way. Loved every minute of it. I love the rawness of it, almost like analogue driving.
Yeah the interior plastics are cheap French stuff but they have so much character and are soooo cheap to run.
I'm enjoying the more grown up megane 225 at the moment...
Can fit a buggy in the boot as long it's a mclaren style one, struggle to get one of the fancy big ones in there though.
Ive had three of mine in the back. Big one in the middle and the two little ones in their seats either side. It's a faff getting them in but works.
Mine goes from appreciating my love of the old Clio now the meg to tolerating it to absolutely hating my toy cars as she calls them..
If it's all going well (not needing money spent on it) she's happy. Sadly it needs a dmf and clutch in the coming months so is currently hating it..! Bloody car...
I wanna get excited about this but I'm just not.
Think I've been disappointed too many times recently with cods. Plus I've always loved the treyarch cods so quite happy with black ops 3 at the moment.
I like these.
Step dad test drove one of tesla, can't remember which one and tried it in insane mode or whatever it's called and he was impressed. Said it was motorbike levels of acceleration and he knows, he's got 3 of them.
Spent about that much on a Samsung smart tv. Cant remember the model an F series I think. Good tv, love the whole smart tv Internet function thing. Good for the ps4 too. Got a 40 '' for sitting about 7/8 feet away.
The jury's still out for me.
Unless it's a treyarch cod they've tended to be absolutely dire.
I'll watch a few YouTube vids and chat to a few people I know who are day one players before I waste another £50...
Yeah I'd give them a call and see if they confirm the belts being done. If so then your set for 5 or 6 years, can't remember which one for the 200's.
Sadly dealers do get a bad rep, some deservedly so but some are reputable. Who you buying from?
Trader or private sale.
Must be cheap if your buying it from someone you've no faith in.
Sadly we used to have sjm autos on Glastonbury but he's shut up shop, probably not making enough money.
Ive yet to find anyone around the Bristol area with a decent reputation for exclusively Renault...
No sadly. We were on the same shift but now we're not so don't see him to blag a go.
Ive been doing house renovations this year so haven't done any shows or track days either. So rarely catch up up the moment.
