Regards the intermittent wipers if they're like the megane it might just be either the sensor or possibly the gel cover that sits over it. Mine had a windscreen replaced and they didn't put the gel pad back in which prevented the sensor from sensing..
It can be separated. It's plastic welded from behind. You'll need to whip the dash top though to do it.
I used ipa, soapy water, wire wool and some wet and dry, takes a while though.

The cleaner I ran through the engine isn't injector cleaner it was to clean all the crap put of the turbo, egr and dpf. It's called revive. Got it from gsf with a discount code, about £50 for the kit, bottle, solution and an air freshener.

Tricky to solve. I had a similar issue on my galaxy.
2l turbo diesel engine, the turbo vanes had clogged up with soot and s**t so when it was under load, motorways and hills especially it was trying to boost too much triggering a limp mode.
The only way I got a fault code was to leave the obd...
I know if you smf they recommend the metal pipe but I'm probably staying with a dmf unless I find a bargain smf somewhere.
