Nope no need for a whole bumper ask the dealership to check again sounds like the person didn't know how to use the system.
Or do a search for the part number the upper one is very cheap £45 or so the lower ones sn't to bad either.
Because the dealers have higher rates plus use the correct parts there costs have to be higher than your adverage back street place.
Your book might be stamped but ever had a failure in a none dealership serviced car where a proper service (not just an oil change etc) results in a claim well...
Whats spec car are you on about a 1.2/1.4/dci/2/0/what tunning (will decide the series) there loads of series they can enter. Dunlop can be entered with little mods realy but to be competitive at say LMA you have to spending a fortune on a stock 2.0 road car to make it reliable and competitive...
Yep sems there the right ones.
I woulnd't ever use them though IMo there to hard a sping even for people who arn't willing to spend a lot on suspension and only change the springs these IMO arn't a good choice.
Yep will fit directly.
Forget the mintex pads unlss there one of the 1166 or watever its called forget the extreme stuff as IMO its rubish.
I don't rate groved disks much either.
10,000 miles well 9,999.9 then it resets to 0 agaian as such. It cannot hold number bigger than that on the display (since the point numbers arn't shown.
I agree but if I by a car where the seat belt mounts are all completly rusted I don't drive the car round unil I get caught.
Whole point of a cage is for safety.
There two types of front brakes used the haynes should show both types from memory although I've not got to bok to hand.
Do you have a picture of the type you have?
Its a cheap design issue, a redesign part would have a cost a fortune plus been proof of failure so opeing legal issues so they just left it and fixed if it failed.
Its sort of the same yep.
197 box won't fit straight off you need you make adapter plates etc and new shafts to make it work since its the new big plate clucth system.
Thats the book time though.
Aux belt at 36k and the cambelt is 72k or 5 years but IMO I'd never leave a cambelt on longer than 60k or 4 years as they do break early. The spec set by Renault isn't the be and end all.
Nope your right have a read here (nooone takes any notice of whats recomended by manurfactuerers or the millions in R and D done for legal law requirments in racing/aviation/cars etc.
Where harnesses should be located.

As said your right...
Taking the changer outs is easy its the £89 wire which is a apin you cna do it just takes time have to het it fromt round the bottom of the door them dash top off to pull it out. Don't cut it though.
Don't foeget the 12k/2 years was the standard set by Renault IMo its to infrequent 6 months andd 1 year should be the limit. The warently was set at that just for demand not for the best for the car.
