172 gone, 182 on way!

Well, the 172 has gone.

Just put a deposit down on a titanium 182.

'04' plate, 25k, absolutely immaculate condition.

Managed to get it for £7495, a little high, but from a stealer, and comes with everything sorted, not that it needs it, new MOT, serviced and a years warranty.

Need another cliosport sticker now.

Chopped it in. They gave me £4750 p/x, which for a '02' 172 with 48k ain't too bad tbh. Took a while to get them to crack though.

Yeah, both cup packs, and actually has the from splitter on too, a few I saw had it missing for some reason.

To be fair ive done the same and realised it was a stupid thing to do then sold the 182 very soon after i got it

I was gonna chop my 172 for a 182, but thought why spend 2-3k on essentially the same car with a few minor differences. I do like the titanium 182s though.

Oh, I knew what I wanted to ask. I'm taking boot net, and mats out, but can I take the 6 disc changer out too? Will it work in the 182?

Well, is it hard to take out? They don't know it's there, well didn't ask if it was there, so I was wondering if it'd fit in the 182.

Yeah, they gave me quite a lot for trade in as I was expecting to get around £5100 private this time of year, as it's hard to shift em. And £7495 isn't a bad price for the 182 really, cheapest I've seen is a lad on here with £7250 for similar.

If you change, you have to get a titanium 182 so we match again lol.

Worth the upgrade to have a newer car if nothing else. Also the cup packs make quite a difference to the handling imho.

Yeah trade in price was good. They said that book price was around £4050 for it, but I have no idea. Even if they did really give me book for it, that means I got the new one for £6795.

Looked at the cd changer, think will leave it lol, and get a lead for mp3 player. Don't wanna go losing bits and bobs from it.

Taking the changer outs is easy its the £89 wire which is a apin you cna do it just takes time have to het it fromt round the bottom of the door them dash top off to pull it out. Don't cut it though.
