the one i drove had 900 miles on it and seemed pretty loosened up. know exactly where you're coming from when you say it washed wide and gave some tyre squeel on the roundabouts!
Quite good in some respects, liked the gearbox/gear change and the steering wheel felt particularly good, as was the lighter clutch.
I got the chance to give it a bit of stick and it handled fairly well, although I wasn't too confident in the lightness of the steering. Not really fair to...
Yes fella, it'll be the blue one. it was tucked round the back when i got there but the guy who uses it was about to go to lunch.
Drink one lunchtime sounds a good plan too, i car share though so only have the car every other week
Spotted you at about 17:10 coming down the A41 by the traffic lights just before the M25 junction.
I was heading out of Watford chasing the Porsche Boxter ;)
cool will do. a guy who used to work here is now a salesman there too so might have a chat with him as well. There was a nice female salesperson who i nearly bought a 182 from, havent seen her there in a while though
there's some very good reflections coming off yours, a true mint example of a 10 year old car!!
Do you have a hi-res version of the pic you took of the 2 trophies (your first pic posted on page 1)
Gareth
Here's just a few of my pic's. well perhaps more than a few, but these are the better ones! :approve:
I have a fair few others i havent yet uploaded and i've had to resize these massively to get them uploaded. If anyone wants any specific pictures but at full res let me know and...
Trophy is going well fella, you'd looked after it well! I picked it up on exactly 5500 miles and it's now done almost 9500....... i'm just about used to it but it's been plenty of fun so far :approve:
Trackdays are planned over the next couple of months i think!
i've just posted on cliotrophy about this, have a read on there with my comments (it's a long one to re-post here!). Basically you need to get them to recognise it on the paperwork as a Trophy
probably about another £1000 or so if you sold privately i expect; to be honest since buying mine i havent looked too closely at where prices are at but i know they have recently taken a tumble on ebay.
ebay or autotrader should give you a good idea on what to expect though
you didn't happen to see an aston martin db7 stacked on the ring road did ya? guy at work apparently had quite a spectacular loss of control of his on the ring road, just in time for rush hour
