i'm based in Watford but travel to Norwich a fair bit as we have an office on St Crispins Road. I'm up tomorrow but the Trophy will be at home as i have a hire car
that looks like the junction coming off the m25, veer left for m11 for norfolk and straight ahead for the city - number of times i've done that journey! tho i might be wrong......
you can wash it just using water, they also give you some cleaning solutions to use on it, but it'll have the freshly waxed/polished look each time you wash it
in fairness i didn't stay around, they dropped me off and picked me up from the local station and i went up to London as they had the car for 6 and a half hours.
but from what they told me and others have said they treat the car with a reactive plastic film, it's a polymer based technology...
www.permaguard.info - that's the company that did it. They're based in London (which is where i went) but also there's a couple of franchises in Manchester and Wales i believe.
my paint was quite badly oxidised and lacking in any texture so it cost me £140 + vat as they spent a bit longer prepping the car.
Price for a Clio though starts at £130
Excuse my poor photography skills, but got the Trophy permaguarded yesterday - here's a few pic's
Outside just after completion :
Outside in a spot of countryside on the way home :
buy a Trophy, only live once. i've not regretted it and the smile hasn't disappeared off my face 2 and a half months after i bought it.
pop over to cliotrophy.co.uk, iirc there's a few who have gone from a 172 to the Trophy, sure they'll be able to advise you a bit too!
try allvehicles - Steve is the guy i beleive (http://www.allvehicles.co.uk/), he has posted a lot on cliotrophy and he seems very genuine. I've also PM'd you another link too
The seat adjustment has broken on my Recaro's - i've temporarily fixed it so that i can still adjust the seatback position, however the seat doesn't tilt forward and it feels like i'm forcing it if i push it.
Also, the back of the seat now feels looser than the other side when i'm sitting in...
the seat i've been offered is from a crashed car but is missing the headrests.
there are a few people on here who have recaro's and sourced a leather/alcantara seat and fitted it to their car
Hi,
I'm after a favour - can anyone post me sample pic's of a full leather rear seat fitted into a full-fat Recaro equipped 182/Trophy, with the headrests missing.
I have been offered a seat but it doesnt come with headrests so i could do with an idea of what it looks like before purchasing...
I reckon he's still looking for upwards of £10k for it, the auction will either end early if it's not attracting the bids or there'll be a flurry of bids towards the end of the auction. If the car is in otherwise good condition there's a bargain to had at the moment
Knowing that there seems to...
there's also a not bad looking black mk2 parked in one of the roads just off Hempstead road - i spot it as i come into watford.
Nice wheels and a custom dual exit exhaust too, don't know whether it's a 1.2 or something a bit more as it's too far away for me to tell!
Are you a technician then mate? with a lack of decent renault garages to where i live (beds) i could do with finding a good garage when it comes to servicing time and warranty work.
You might have seen my Trophy about a month ago when i popped down one lunchtime, you and someone else where...
