That looks fun but it didn't say anything about programming on the fly. I wonder if you can just draw on the screen and it will mill the shape?[emoji16]
I find it comical that manufacturers increased the size of their small cars then had to make a new smaller one to fill the gap in the market.
And let's not start on the bloody mini abomination [emoji19]
Mines retro. When I was a kid I collected keyrings from anywhere we went. My dad's mate was a mechanic who moved between main dealers a lot and he got me loads of manufacturer keyrings. I had my first R5 keys on this and my last R5 and now the Clio keys. So I've had it in my pocket off and on...
I think I'm going to go for a short shifter to avoid any tickling of the cat. I've already sorted a lift up shaft thanks Louis. It'll all come together one day. Hopefully.
Read the thread title! [emoji23][emoji23]
Well I've got a scenic shifter to mod and install. I've got a set of headlamps to play with and a spare inlet to tart up. The front suspension needs a refresh too but as I'm an old git I think I'll shy away from poly bushes and stick with new standard...
Small update, I've so got it. Winter is rubbish, the list of jobs just gets longer. Yesterday the wife asked when my MOT is due and said "when that's done you can get back to tinkering". I'll take that as permission to start purchasing parts then! Hopefully more substance in the next update, but...
When did this killer update roll out? My PC did one last week and took an hour to get it to start up again. Then the psu died at the weekend so I've missed all the fake p**n this week. Must sort a new psu soon!
You will not lose money on the ph1, even if you go to town on it. And this cups are sought after so I can't see a problem getting a decent return on that either. Sell the cup to fund the ph1.
Wow that has to be destiny for it to turn up for sale just up the road after all that time. Awesome work on the grubby bits too, I wish I had a garage to roll around in under my car [emoji23]. I hope to see you at some Yorkshire meets in summer then eh[emoji106]
If it's been through the @mossyv6 school of perfection at some point in its life then it will definitely be one of the best examples out there. I'll poke @RV. to add you to the Yorkshire register and tag you for our meets, we usually head around Glossop way and up into the hills.
Which company changed the screen? Regardless of who you are now insured with, they didn't supply and fit the wrong screen. The window company should cover their work anyway.
It's an lcd panel so will need swapping. If your buttons etc are good condition you can buy a cheap scabby unit and pull them apart and swap the screens over.
