Any seat is road legal as long as its fitted correctly. FIA is only applicable if you are using the car for motorsport, track days dont require it. £150 will get you something pretty good 2nd hand tbh. Just remember as well as a seat, you'll need side mounts & a suitable subframe.

Spending £2k on a clio to add 10bhp. No thanks. Everyone i know that has gone down that route (mostly on 106/saxo's i suppose) has regretted it. The noise simply isnt worth the extra money.

Alex sent me race entry fees & i nearly cried. As such, i'll be sticking to track days for the near future. I cant see how it would be anywhere near as cheap to race properly as it is do track days in my pink sh1tbox :(
