    Oh okay, im building it for track use only really so thought the ACL bearings would be good. What bearings you recommed then for track use? Iv already got a guy sorted out that will be doing all my machining thanks anyway.

    Hmm all the say is F4R 730 or F4R 740, 741, 780, 700, 701. Is there a engine no. on the block that will have one of these no. stamped on it?

    Yer thats kinda seems right as the F4R 730 is 11. 1 comp ratio and the other one is 9.8 .1.

    Just was outside work having a fag and this yellow 182 drive past, I thought lovely... Not till he gave it out of the side turning and on the Croydon road I found out it was turbo lol!! Anyone one on here! By the way very nice :) rich

    Fair point about the £500 budget, might be better to do the half day one as two hours at brands will be good fun as its a small track, and it's close to people.

    thanks for the help mate but unsure why you say rotate the belt and pulleys backwards twice? dont you mean clockwise twice? and using the exhaust pulley shouldn't it be crank?

    Replacing the belt on my clio 172 cup and iv come accross a problem: The timing tool that goes in the cams to lock them in place is not lining up on the inlet side, looks like it needs to be rotated anit clockwise. But looking at the dephaser side the marking on the rocker cover to the markings...

    Your auxiliary pulley doesn't look all that, flapping about in the video? That might be the issue if the bearing f**ked!!

    Dont these clio have a throttle learn? When you disconnect the throttle body sometimes they need to... basically learn where normal idle is. Mine done this for about 30 miles after i fitted matched inlets and ported throttle body, and then was fine.
