Gave it clean inside and out. Waxed with some Collinite 845 as recommended by @sparklesthpony then sesal with some Autoglym gloss protector. Came up nice and shiney.
Fitted by newly repaired wheel which had a free refurb as they couldn't fix it without stripping it :-). Done at the wheel specialists in avonmouth, Bristol. Top job and excellent service, would highly recommend. Nice going somewhere full of car enthusiasts too. Excellent colour match as well.
what Clio is it? If its a phase 2 2002-2007 then its easy. Follow this video This gives you access to the binnacle. It just has two connectors to unplug. Then its a case of unclipping the clear plastic and undoing a few screws.
Mine is lowered on eibachs by 30mm. On the fronts I'm running 25mm hubcentrics and 10mm non hubcentrics on the rear with longer bolts, 39mm. Tried 25 & 15mm on the rears but both rubbed with the 195 width tyres I've got. Dan@m.a.d makes wheel spacers and has some offers on at the moment if trawl...
So thought I had a puncture this morning. Turns out its a cracked alloy. Anyone had a repair done before on a cracked alloy and how much did you pay, which I know is an open ended question but just looking for rough ideas on cost. Cheers
I LOVE the black and yellow bay mate.. Looks fantastic. Might have to try some of that winter wax too. Mine gets covered in shite in the winter as its a daily, looks super shiny. Good work
as above. Mine did this, its the manifold hitting the bulkhead behind the engine. Polybushed the dog bone and stopped straight away. Sharpens your gear shifts too, easily the best value for money upgrade you can do on these cars.
Who the hell steals number plates... Gypo's probably. Power steering pumps can knock when they start wearing out apparently. Mines got quite a clunk when doing a three point turn on full lock.
£243 for 2 springs... Better be Ti for that price. That's just taking advantage of a pregnant women if you ask me. Needless to say you won't be going back!
Had a nice new clear windscreen fitted. Fitted some new bluecol wipers from Tesco. For £3.50 a wiper they're brilliant. A copy of the Bosch aero's but for a fraction of the money.
