I'm not denying that, but the law of averages dictate that a PD 1.9tdi will way outlast a ford Tdci.
That's why T reg Golf tdi's are £1500 and 54 plate focus Tdci's are the same price.
They are proper fussy units. Unless they are at 99% of the correct angle, they will lock up.
Have you tried offering it up to the car and putting the bolts in finger tight to try and release it that way?
Parkway usually sell a lot of high end stuff iirc. Maybe they just want rid?
If it was a scam, it wouldn't have 100,000 miles. I'd have thought anyway.
The fact remains, running a baller car requires baller wages. Or no house and kids.
Well done to Laura though, she's done what most people only dream of doing.
I had to drive my wifes scenic/boat all weekend and it felt like I was getting into an F1 car when I got in the clio this morning.

I'd be more concerned with when the belt was done time wise and what the condition of it was like.
Snappy (on here) retrims wheels to a standard that Renault could only dream of.
UCH was quite cheap when I bought it from Renault Wolverhampton on here. Fitted it myself and got a mate that works for renault to code it in for £20.
Certainly not the end of the world.
I had vmaxx on a 182 and whilst they were actually pretty good on the road (very good in fact!) they were pretty lame on track. Way too soft.
If it's a track/fun car, I'd probably go with new cup dampers and cook sport springs.
I'm going to have to sell it soon. I really need a van. Tax and MOT is up at the end of the month so I'll probably renew both then get an advert up. :(
