Have you actually looked at the pads?
If it was my every day car, I'd rather replace the whole lot, discs pads and fluid, rather than just chuck a set of cheapo euro pads in there and hope for the best.
That's not a dig, but if the brakes work and there's meat left on the pad, then I'd rather...
When you say 'part worn down' how worn down are they??
If they aren't gone completely, and they still work, then there really is no rush to replace them today.
Put it down about half way. Then put it back up. When it gets to the top and it's shut properly, hold the switch in the up position for 12 seconds.
That's how you reset lagunas, scenics and meganes so I assume the Clio is the same.
There's a place I've used before in keynsham. They did my valver wheels.
