Ok, with all the threads on here about "how cheap you can buy a 182 for" at the moment, im starting to wonder if I paid over the odds for my car?! I personally didnt thinks so (obviously), but maybe I am wrong?
Its a 04 plate, done 72000 miles, has full service history with most of the work...
New roll cage: £1000
New Tailgate: £450
New CF bonnet: £450
New Wheels: £500
New Coils: £500
Realising you have made a big mistake when the total spend is over £14,000 and the gearbox gives up, and now knowing there’s not a hope of ever getting near half that amount back? :Priceless: !
There...
Loved all my mods I did to my 1.2; dampers, williams springs, exhaust/inlet mods, alloys, dash lights color conversion and so on (even including the tow bar!)... Once I tried adding spacers onto the hubs to make it a bit wider, but as soon as i drove it i didnt like it so took it off again...
lol your only too old when you turn into a grumpy old man! Anyway, a lot of inssurance companies wont even offer insurrance for 182's to drivers under 25!!
Still no update?! A whole day at work looking forward to this!!! Grrr!!! I would have thought Microsoft would have been able to get an update out on time!!
So im sitting here turning my Xbox on/off periodically hoping to see the "Update Availible" prompt, nothing as of yet though! Anyone else had the update yet (excluding beta testers)?
ah ok. Unfortunataly, I had already voted and did the exact obisit (put my newest addition (182))... I feel sorry for the loney Mk1 1.2 vote now! Dont worry voter, I have one to! 150104miles on the clock and still going strong!
I have an engine block with crank and pistons inserted (which move) setup as a table. lol. I trying to make it work off a smal electric motor so I can have a drink rise from inside the block to the top on demand! educational and fun!
hold on i'll just got get my blue marker pen... lol. If the artist would make himself/herself know and let me know how/where they got it done, maybe I could finish it off properly :p
P.S - From you pictures it looks like the value has been broken/snapped and not just fallen - surely that would indicate a timing problem? also if it just broke, how would 1 piece values help?
No, its on both sides and in normal light you cant really see it (in fact I didnt notice it until a few day after I bought the car)! I quite like it now tho...
The prices ont his thread seem insainly cheap to me (for a good condition, working car). I just paid £2950 for my 182 with 72K on the clock (belts done etc); I looked on ebay/autotrader and didnt see any for under 2000 in the south! You guys must be hunting for these for ages!
Really?! I didnt think there would have been many m/blue 182's starting with KP04 and cliosport written on the door trims at all! Shows how little I know about number plate distrobution! I heard its bad to give out the full number plate, so I will have to post a picture of the door or something...
