the belt comment wasnt related to your problem, it was a precautionary as they are best replaced by renault specialists. Simply running the engine will tell you nothing. You need to see the receipts to proove it was done and where it was done...
This thread is a spinoff of this one http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?615538-Impossible-to-keep-car-clean-this-time-of-year
The idea is to post pictures of your car as it is! No pre-cleaning sessions allowed!!! Its always hard to keep cars clean in the winter, but over the last 2...
Salt, saltm salt and more salt!!! Makes the car look a mess after just 1 journey!!! Anyone else suffering this time of year or is it just in devon where the salt seems to make your window go white but dosnt actually melt the ice?!
Any tips on keeping it off? (special polishes etc)
I swapped the rear brakes on my 1.2 Mk1Ph3 ages ago from drums to discs; it was really simple as I swapped the whole rear axle over on one shot, 4 bolts, 2 brake hoses and it was done! It didnt help with the braking at all but it did look a lot better imo!
Interesting stuff! I never knew leather had so much added on top of it! I might give this a go on my wheel in the summer. How much of the melting stuff did you use?
Renault will have all the information about your car. Your v5 will also have the vin number/engine numbers. I cant see why data protection wuold come into it as the numbers your looking for are generic and openly avalible from various sources (i.e D7F is the 1.2 8v engine, it was then replaced...

5k?! Thats way over the odd for a 1.2!!! It should be closer to 1.5K! Give Aviva a try as they were the cheapest for me on my 1.2 clio. Admiral are also very good and worth a try.
Yeah I have seen some of the PDF's, they are very good but obviously not as easy to referance torque setting etc.
@Mark123 & anyone else with pdf's, I would love a copy of all I can get, my email is info@bri-tec.co.uk :)
Im looking for one to explain how to fix the headlight washers at the...
You can normally tell if its been in a crash by checking the date of manufacture rings found on the bottom edge of the wings; they should theoretically match, if it dosnt, then theres a possibility its been replaced.
Whats the best (free) app on Android for messuring 0-60 time? I had a play with the aDyno, but it seems to work ofr the pitch of the car rather than GPS (which to me seems very odd)!
Also, I have a TomTom One that I wanted to mount int he 182 and was wondering if anyone had every come accross...
Thats very impressive! I have personnaly found that the amount left appears to go down in accordance with the distance I have traveled, so it must be pretty accurate!
When i fill mine up it says over 400miles. Most of my driving is on the ND link road, so 5th gear cruse control stuff. The MPG is currently reading 38.0 and seems to hover around this figure...
