    gear knob removal

mole grips really tight and twist to break the glue. You will destroy it but that's how I got mine off.

    Decat? Can't decide

I agree. Put my cat back on for the mot, couldn't be bothered with hassle and the cabin noise on the m/way was a bit tedious. You don't get much BHP from a decat just mot hassle. Plus you might kill your lambda sensors. Torque improvement mid range is of more use than the noise.

Great car. Looks nice and clean. I know what you mean, you just fall in love with them very quickly. Even my step father likes mine and he hates French cars with a passion. Cups are the best ;-)!!

    Jamesy's Cup

Hit hit some diesel on a wet corner on the way to work in May. No amount of opposite lock was enough to stop it hitting the M5 supporting pillar in the background. Yes it hurt the ego and my chest! I was gutted, just knew I had to get another one and found my gorgeous cup. All happy again.

hi. I just ran them off the roof light console. So when the door opens the lights come on or you can switch them on via the reading light. Just ran the pos/neg wires inside the the roof liner down the l/h A pillar. Feeding through to the drivers side behind the gearbox console was a bit fiddly.

    Jamesy's Cup

Yeah I was hoping the blue would be more subtle but fitted it anyhow coz the oe one was torn to shreds. The wheel was a toe in the water buy as didn't want to spend loads as I wasn't sure how successful the airbag resistor operation was going to go. Will upgrade next year to a omp or sabelt...

yes it did. if you look closely you can see a concrete pillar holding the m5 up in the background, I hit that....! Well since I've had it its had a new mot, new l/r caliper needed but that was all. I managed to get the mot done with the new steering wheel. Been going to my local garage for...

Hi name's James. Owned a clio sport for 5 months now, two of them. The first was bought as a work 'run around'. But because I'm a relatively old b'tard (37) I thought I'd get something sporty.... It was this, Great example. Ran well, had loads done to it. Was the previous owners pride and...

    reversing light problem!

If the rear wiper doesn't come on when selecting reverse then its more than likely the reverse sensor switch on the gearbox. I assume you've checked the obvious stuff, bulbs, earths, fuses etc. Its a pretty easy and cheap fix. New sensor from eurocar parts cost me about £15. You need to jack the...

Re: Engine Management Light on!! Changed lambda sensor, cleared code and still on!! H Tried disconnecting the battery? Had similar issue when I fitted a new steering wheel. The airbag light wouldn't go out despite having right resistors fitted. Had to disconnect the battery while rewiring a new...
