Tracked down a genuine B&M Gearknob that was missing from my short shift kit
Hi, I'm in the middle of trying to eliminate my knocking on acceleration.
I've changed the dogbone bushes, which you'll see underneath, powerflex ones are ~ £40
The upper gearbox mount is under the battery, support the gearbox from below and it's pretty simple to change from above with the...
Hi, I've just stripped down the upper gearbox to change the dodgy bush and found the cradle crudely bolted to the chassis leg/strut tower and it obviously has been rubbing.
Does this mount bolt straight to the car or am I missing some mounting bushes? If so, any pics?
thanks :)
1" stainless steel box bolted to the straightened jacking points and the rest covered in stone chip, messy!
Think I found the source of my annoying knocking!
can an someone tell me if there is meant to be bush/bushes in any of the mounting holes on this cradle please? It was just bolted...
Does it have a set of phase 1 OZf1 wheels even though it's advertised as having 16" turinis? I tried to buy it about a month ago, offered him £1400 and he wasn't interested as apparently it's already at it's cash price.
Plenty of idiots around, sadly on here too. I've sent a few pm's regarding parts for sale and had no reply, a little courtesy even if it's to say, no sorry goes a long way.
Had a look at my sills today and they're flattened to the car, so skirts off and pulled them straight. I now need to paint them and take this opportunity to strengthen them with box section.
Dog bone done
Tow strap and Skoda lip on
This happened with mine, thankfully I noticed it when it was in primer. The blank is so soft and flexible it's difficult to stop it cracking. I put another skim of filler over it and it hasn't done it again....so far!
You'd need to buy two separate licences as they are only useable on one chassis number, I've just bought a used one so just looking into it myself :) If you're not in a hurry let me get mine sorted and we'll sort something Mr J
So many failures on MLR, back up was terrible too, I've been in an evo 8 with them and they were crashy and crude, back to back with some decent suspension really shows them up, lots of poor reviews in the USA too.....
You just need to be on there regularly and be very quick! I got a mint d43 wing on there for £40 a couple of weeks ago.......sorry!
plenty of greedy wasters on there too these days
