Mine did exactly the same.
I got a 2nd hand throttle body for about £30 off a member on here, swapped it over in 5 minutes (4x botls and 1x electrial plug) and it's been fine ever since.

Makes sense though...mine's stripped to the bare metal but with a very heavy passenger seat in and from the published 1,021kgs starting point I've taken out 117kgs giving me around 904kgs.

I got this one as good as thrown in for free when I bought a replacement gearbox from Waitey.
I think Demon Tweeks do them though...or there's a thread on here somewhere for straightforward screw-in replacement ones.
On track is where the lines will really shine Roy, none of this squishy inconsistent pedal malarky.

Normal ones do, but this is an OMP one so the thread is much smaller. Needed part of the original mount grinding away so it could be fitted properly.
