The only real differnce between coilovers and the regular strut/spring setup is the body.
Coilovers do not neccesarily use smaller dampers, they can use the same inserts but jsut use a body that doesnt have as large a spring seat. The Strut casting is threaded and an adjustable spring seat...
lol....i wonder why col! hahaha
Agree on the coilovers aswell, the spring seat will rub, but i was talking about the rear of the car. Wasnt even thinking about the front, for some reason i thought you were only talking about the rear lol.
genuine Renault bearings are about 40 odd quid and are far better quality. Also go to a ren specialist to fit the bearing, if they are pressed in wrongthey wont last. Ive had some las as little as 4k, but gen ren bearings pressed in properly last a long time.
the car can sweat but only if you put it in during the late eve. As it gets dow to bollocking cold, the car will have condensation. But it wont if you just leave it in there.

10 60mph - 5mph stop with increasing brake pressure is enough to burn the resins and bed the pad material, a final 80mph stop when they have cooled a tad is...
The newer i-vtec is 3 stage with 3 cam lobes and 3 follwers. And like Jay says its doesnt just phase a cam to advance or r****d a static cam profile, it actually changes the cam to one with me lift, duration and different cam timing. Lovely system.
yup, S1600 regulations state that the max build cost for the car is US$100,000. Supposedly to keep costs down, and it works!
Comapred to 1/4 mil WRC cars.
Crap, glad evrybody is ok!
But i dunno what it is with people, i had a pip and shout at some people crossing a major junction 10 feet from a zebra crossing where i would of had to stop...but no, they stand the the middle of 4 lanes.
Incidentally, on a lighter note, a school mate in Hong...
