The coolant temp sensor tells the ECU the engines temp, and, for example, if the CTS is providing cold start temps (sub 20C), then the stepper motor will open the throttle more and inject more fuel, hence a higer idle speed.
agree, most people poor braking is down to poor condition of brake fluid which absorbs water vapour over time, this leads to a lower boiling point,a nd boiling releases gasses in the lines, leading to a spongy feeling. Pad fade wont feel spongy, itll be more aking to pressing as hard as you can...
