Planning on putting the battery behind the passenger seat as I still want to be able to put a pax seat in for track days. I will use a connector block in the engine bay and take the battery feed through the car and bulk head. I will need to work this in with the battery cut off but that will...
I have been looking at the Odyssey PC680 which seems to be a popular battery but also seen the own branded Powervamp PVR22 Clubsport battery which is similar size but half the price. Does anyone have any experience with either of these batteries in a clio?
I am looking for an MSA roll cage and have so far found a few bolt in offerings at a similar price. They are all dash Dodgers and similar design so I was just wondering if anyone had any preference to fit, quality, customer service, paint quality etc etc.
So far I am swaying towards the Safety...
Do the Matt Lewis hoses come with all the fittings required such as banjos and washers etc? In other words is it a Kit like the Goodridge or just the hoses?
Turns out my mistake of getting a de-catted exhaust system won't cost me much more than if I had of bought the correct one in the first place. The price of a sports CAT from PMS is £325 whereas the full system with a CAT is £300 more than the de-cat system. In the long run I will have paid an...
Maybe with a hub adaptor something like this but you also end up with a wider track:

Perhaps not these exact ones but you get the idea. The cost involved might be more than sending the wheels back and getting the correct centre...
So its not as bad as some people make out. I have read it weighs a lot more but didn't know that actual values. Might not be worth doing and just wrap the spoiler at the same time as the roof. At least it would match then and save some hassle.
I will be going poly window etc etc.
As said money to be made, saves on spraying or wrapping and saves weight with maybe not as good looking as a compromise.
Someone must know the weight but not to worry as depending how I swap I might be able to weight them both before sending the Cup spoiler off.
If a can sell mine for what they are advertised in eBay for and get a black normal one for cheap I won't have the spray or wrap the silver one when I wrap the roof and save weight so all good.
The cup one does look better though. :(
Speaking of Knockhill; I took the Megane there when it only had 800 miles on the clock and 2 months old. Here it is on road tyres still at Motorway pressures:
Update on vehicle history also includes my Green Lane machine known as Diahard:
Might as well introduce Buster and Sky too:
Diahard went in 2012 as I was using it to travel up and down to Aberdeen and the prop shaft was becoming noisy. It was replaced in July 2012 with the Megane...
