Hi Tom. Car has been looking great all the way from the start of the thread. I am in the process of getting ITB's same as yours so am looking into the radiator you have bought. I have found one on eBay and was wondering what you needed to do in order to change them over in regards to mounts...
Their install video says you download the Gen Tuner Lite for free and instructions are with the kit. As mine is second hand there is no instructions. Hopefully they will give me these instructions and I will be able to download the software. It will only be to set the TPS to get the car...
I have a Gen90 ECU I bought second hand but the seller sold the cable to someone else with the pro software and dongle.
Now I can't install the ITB's and get it set up. Does anyone have a cable I could borrow or tell me what cable it is and where to get one from?
Also I need to download the Gen...
You need one of these bad boys ideally. This is what we use at work:

or one of these and a bash with a hammer...
I am going to fit a set if K-Tec ITB's and have the 60mm trumpets and 90mm trumpets. From what I am reading I think the 90mm will be better for me as I dont think the standard internals will let it rev high enough to make the most of the shorter trumpets. Firstly am I correct here as I am...
Just ignore my last comment. Its not worth saving £10 or so and having inferior cable that's too small and end up with a car that doesn't start! lol. I will just stop being so tight and buy the proper cable.
I have just had a thought about battery cable.
I have been looking for suitable battery cable and have noticed how expensive it is for a couple of meters of big flex cable that would be suitable. Then I thought that my big set of jump leads would be ideal for this and seem to recall them not...
Sticker bombing properly can be cool as its a collection of stickers that actually mean something to that person and there is a story behind how they got them and what they are for. A Sticker bomb sheet is a bit of a cop out IMO.
Remember its not real unless you have photos!
Get it sticker bombed though if you like that sort of thing. It's your car. Which sticker set were you thinking of are would you do it for real with individual stickers?
Have you heard what a diesel sounds like with an induction kit? If not check it out on youtube before making a final decision as its not the same as most cars that run one as they are usually petrol.
Sounds like a tractor!
And now for some entertainment here is a video of me crashing a bike. I qualified 2nd in the wet which was a surprise as I was just taking it easy. The race in the afternoon was dry and I led the race from the start and thought I had it in the bag. Little did I know that there was a guy who...
Well I am still offshore so not been able to do any physical work on the car over the last week or so.
I have been doing plenty of research on various things and trying to prioritise what I need to buy and jobs to do.
I have ordered the CL RC5+ pads from the group buy, sorted a set of front and...
Looks good.
Interesting about the PMS engine mounts. I was looking at them and can't recall it saying you need the linkage kit too? Maybe missed that.
Door cards look good. Did you make them yourself?
I have already cut out all the wiring from within the car that I could reach and am going to do the siren soon. I am hoping that from one direction or the other that I will just be able to pull the remaining cable though?
These seem like a cheap option for anyone wanting to keep the original fog lamp holders and tidy up the "something missing" look of just removing the fog lamps:

I have seen many threads with a few different opinions and solutions but it would be nice to have a thread showing what everyone has done for ideas, design, parts and suppliers.
