If you fit with a larger bolt can you put the bracket in place, remove the bolt and refit with the original sized bolt without the bracket moving out of place?

Tempted to have a go at replacing my inners with OEM but this looks a right pig of a job on the drive, any idea how much a decent garage would charge (have experience with RS Clio's)? The inners have been on the car since new and they looked very split looking from the side of the bush.

Ordered these from Mister-Auto.co.uk and they are surprisingly cheap, both FEBI parts have the exact Renault numbers matching as per above.

Outer ARB from GSF part number is 429RE0100 at approx £7 each. Do you have the part number for inners at ECP?

Worth keeping hold of the rears if they are Renault branded as rumour was they are no longer supplying them.

Believe they are made by Bosch same as the rears which are priced slightly higher at ECP than the Brembo so a decent road pad. Ordered mine on Monday so should arrive today. Ideal for my worn Pagids which I've not been overly impressed with!

You can register yourself against the number of the car and become the new owner on Cliotrophy.co.uk. It's nearly 8 years since I joined up so not sure on the process, but a good way to track previous owners and what has (and has not!) been done to your car.

Looking at the history on your number (008) it appears to have been in 2013 by Cornering Force. Only ever used BG Motorsport myself in the past, but there is a guy on Cliotrophy.co.uk who can refresh them and certainly knows his stuff!

Could be 1 of a number of things to be honest from experience, although shocks are the usual culprit. Tyres are a key thing to look at including type, age and pressures, and also springs can be a common problem if they are damaged. Would also have checked the top mounts, wishbones and steering...

Main reason why I have the spare rack to have a play and work out for myself what I can and can't replace without have to go to a garage. My inner tie rods are the age of the car other than one of the gaiters so be interesting to see how they make the car feel once replaced.

Managed to source a second hand unit new inner tie rod and TRE's but wondering if there is anything else to consider before having it fitted? Aware of the Powerflex mount bushes bit might as well cover all bases before it goes in. Final question, do the racks go in complete with everything...

Took my rear shocks off, cleaned and refitted with new strut top mounts and pleased that they were both rock solid as they were when fitted in 2012. Very happy.

I followed MRBILLYUK's advice and went for the M8 75mm bolts and locking nuts with his custom made spring 'cups'. You can easily use the original cups and just drill a bigger hole to slide over the bolt but it doesn't look great. The whole setup is then much more durable and only £3 for a gasket...
