I think the problem is he doesn't care, people like that don't. It's one thing not declaring your new wheels. It's another when you are running a turbo conversion.
Ok just seen the above app for android. Basically it appears to allow some sort of blue tooth access to some cars telemetry and even fault code reading. Any one shed any more light on whether its a good app or not.

ok, been looking at another one, pretty much same spec, 02 plate, similar miles, engine out as belt gone( no idea why he had engine taken out for that) . he wants 1500 quid.

i have the chance t o buy a 02 172 in red, 77,000 miles in excellent condition b ut no history. has all the toys, xenons, rain sens wipers,headlight sensors etc.
he is looking at 3000 ish, i have been looking at 172 prices and they seem a bit up and down so assuming its mechanically fine, b...
depending on what type of system you have, ie abs or non abs you should be doing the master cylinder f irst if non abs, then at the w heels. if its abs you will need the correct procedure cos what you dont want is a ir trapped in the abs pump. its a b**ch to get out sometimes
I am only looking for another 50 horses, I don't mind blowing the odd engine but I don't see the point in going much further as its throwing money out the window. Just wanted something a bit different. Is it as expensive now as people say it is? And do you use it on the road.lol
Thanks vicky , Will message you later. I'm hoping a tuning expert(Fred etc) will stick his five pence in and give his opinion to one of my questions in post, do tuners tend to steer clear of nos? It's just mentioned as much as blown tuning. Is that because its results are not as good as turbos...
yes I want to hill climb my cup but as I'm a noob I have to leave it standard. So I was looking to disconnect it for that and re connect when I want to
You don't hear much about nos in tuning circles anymore, I used to run it whether I lived in Surrey but its a pain to get hold of in cornwall so haven't bothered here. I no its a bit of a cave man answer to power but wondered whether it was just a fad or not. Opinions greatly appreciated
