Oh don't say that, confusing me now! I just 2 bought from the above link for my fronts - will be changing both front Springs now.
Praying they will be ok :dapprove:
I am picking a set of Eibach Sportline's up tomorrow from DemonTweeks.
Top man, worried there for a min I'd ordered the wrong...
Cheers Jack appreciate it mate.
Stealers the place for them? Is it the sort of thing they have in off the shelf?
Would they know what I'm after if I said two Clio 182 top shocker mounts and bearings or is there part numbers knocking about for them?
I want to make sure I get the correct...
I will be having my Springs replaced (not Shocks) due to a front broken offside one and the Mechanic said buy the Spring(s) and top shocker mount and bearing :S
Any ideas? Will it need it, as I say I'm getting the broken front Spring fixed to pass the MOT.
I tried ordering these three times now from different companies only to be told they are out of stock everywhere in the UK
I needed them before Friday as well.
Long shot but does anyone on here know of a stockist with stock or anywhere in the north west that may have them sat on their...
:D I did consider doing it myself but then I remembered I'm not very good with this type of thing!
Yeah I know, I only asked him about the one because at the time I intended to do the knackered one only but then ended up buying the Eibach kit! I am waiting on a price for all 4 now.
I don't...
Quick bump.
Ordered some Eibach Sportlines and been quoted £60 to fit 1 spring and the track rod end by a mates mate who is a Mechanic, does that seem reasonable?
I was tempted to have a go myself but I can't say I'm confident:o so will prob get the pro's in.
Yeah not checked it yet as it's raining but it just proves they don't know their arse from their elbow, some cars don't even have a Hi/middle brake light ffs and it's legal!!!
I did point this out and he scribbled it out and put AMBER lol
Deal! if I can get the Mrs to take us that is, she has gone to bed so will ask her first thing.
Thanks very much Pal, will sort you out.
PM us details if you wouldn't mind. :D
Back again.
Can anyone tell me if these are the correct parts? I am just trying to source the parts to get a rough cost as I may have someone fitting it all.
Here goes...

Took it there because it was half price Mot thats all and thought it may pass tbh. I am aware they are a bit dense!
Tracking was mentioned as an advisory.
C'mon then, who fancies sorting this within 10 days for me for payment of course ;)
Cheers fellas, I had a feeling it was slightly on the high side lol!
I really don't want to mess about doing it - I would balls it up no doubt no matter how easy it is!
Help needed fellas :dapprove:
I took the car for its Mot today at Halfrauds and it failed on a broken offside coil spring and offside Track rod end worn to excess :(
I have been quoted £366 by them.
Thoughts please guys? I dont fancy doing the work myself btw.
It's cupped which makes a...
I had mine removed the other day and debated long and hard as to go without a silencer but in the end went with one, sounds normal now although I guess if I went without one I'm sure it would have been quieter than when it was blowing... that was seriously loud!
Cheers Alex for the reply.
Yep I think your right as when I asked have you sorted it he explained yeah, I put a silencer on but it's tight the room under there!
Alrite lads, slightly annoyed with this one. :(
I took my car to get my exhaust repaired as it was blowing like hell and making a right racket see here for reason why! http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?726445-Re-182-Cat-Mod-thread-Option-for-Me
Garage has replaced the centre...
Cheers fellas for that.
I could do without paying out a wedge on a complete new un due to funds being a bit on the low side, I'll take it to JP Exhausts or Top Gear to have a look.
Ta.
Alrite lads, need some expert advice here. ;)
Firstly I was going to buy a complete new system but then I came across that thread. Money is a slight issue at the mo hence looking towards this cheaper option.
I currently have it 'bodged' up with some clips/sealent/gun gum etc
Question is, does...
Thanks for that 1812lsd.
I reckon that would help alot in the short term till i sort it permanently, how would that attach to the Bolt though? sorry if it's a thick question :S
Cheers, will take a look when i get chance.
Cheers.
Mounts are pretty old.
Yeah, i temp fixed it with a bit of tin and some paste but the excessive movement in that area seems to undo my handywork!
I am hoping when it's welded properly it will be ok for a while until i invest in a...
