Cheers Carlv, any ideas what it looks like? i am sure i'm missing one or something as it currently looks like this ( ignore the split! weld on order!!)

Cheers danward.
Does it, hmm it seems like it needs some sort of mount around there as it is very unstable and shifts about too much in my view.
Anyone know if i could add one? maybe use the bolt as a start point??
Any one tell me if there should be some sort of mount attached to the threaded bolt here in pic?
Exhaust seems to bounce quite a bit in this middle section.
Ta.
Exhaust? what's that to do with it?? I would get a cat back system but funds are a little tight at the mo so was looking to get it welded just so i csan get to work and back in the short term - it's so loud it's giving me headaches!!
I quite like it :D but the Mrs doesn't and to be fair it gives me a headache after a while it's that loud!
Question is will I have to replace the lot? it looks ok apart from the damage in the pic, I'll probably do a temp repair till i sort it proper.
Thoughts please.
Ta.
Yep another thread by me :o
I am having a rough time, feels like my 182 is falling to pieces just now :dapprove: anyway...
Thoughts on this please. Mechanic has told me the play in the drivers side wheel is due to the tracking rod and it needs sorting asap as the wheel could fly off!
I had a...
Thought I'd update this a bit.
I've had the front disc and pads fitted and pleased to say the grinding noise has gone :approve: however he couldn't do the rear pads due to not having the special adaptor for it, something to do with the caliper I think he said so that's getting done another...
It passed the MOT a few months back and all that showed up was front pads were low - no mention about discs at all.
I think he was having a laugh with that quote tbh!
I know for sure the fronts need doing both the Discs and Pads that is obvious to me but as for the Rear Disc I'm just going off the Ats Mechanic they need to be a minimum of 7.0 mm and mine are 6.35 he said - he did show us the digital read out so he was telling the truth!
I am tempted the...
The bloke said the rear Discs need to be a min of 7mm and he measured mine at 6.35 so he said new discs needed although they looked ok conpared to fronts - they were marked up.
Ok then here goes!
Please please please could anyone in the Manchester/Cheshire area fit my brakes I shall provide tea and biscuits of your choice plus costs as long as it's under £40!! :D
I could come to yours if that helps any.
PM if any helpful chaps are out there willing to help us out...
I think I've decided on the brakes now but would a local Garage fit them if I supply them? I'll be going for new front Pads and Discs, what should I be looking to pay for fitting?
Cheers
Alrite Guys :)
Quick question and before anyone says do a search I have so there ;)
I have just started to experience a screeching sound when I brake at very low speed and it put the sh!t$ up the Mrs! MOT advisories mentioned front brakes are very low so I'm putting it down to them.
Do I...
Cheers, i'll wade through some more via the search.
Not really looked at them guessing similar price wise to PS3's
I'll take another look at this tomorrow, past my bedtime :sleepy:
Alrite fellas.
Car went in for it's MOT today - it passed :approve: but got a few advisories.
It needs 3 new tyres, one is near the limit and the other two are showing signs of cracking :S although the tread is still good.
I went searching for PE2'S only to find they are no longer available...
Bump!
Alrite fellas, i now need a new un myself and upon searching found this thread.
Can anyone tell us which batteries will defo fit? i put my Reg into the motor factor sites and it only seems to come up with 027 batteries by Bosch!
Looking to get a Bosch one that fits.
Anyone point us in...
Gone with Greenlight :) my postcode is a Cheshire one which gets around the Manchester won't touch you problem! ( edited my location)
I've been with them twice before in the past - quote was £499 but with a lower excess, not over the moon with that price but had to bite the bullet.
Cheers all...
Cheers, hope so for me aswell as they are the only ones i'm waiting on now!
Stuart and Co wanted £740! although they asked how i'd heard about them, mentioned Cliosport of course :approve:
