    Alrite fellas, Does anyone have these or know how to fit them to a 182? I've just bought some and in the instructions it has an eye symbol saying to look for a circle on the car but i can't see one :o also what's the blue plastic thingy for!? Can i just fit it anywhere? Cheers.

    Car failed on the Hazard warning switch only working intermittently and brake fluid below the min level! although it looked full to me :S Anyway, tester said if i sort the mentioned issues he'd pass it, 1 hour later i was back having been to Renault to buy a new Switch and a bottle of brake...

    Well lads with respect and i know quite a few of you boys know your stuff obviously, it didn't need a new engine which i thought would be the case to be honest, glad about that. I've had the Dephaser replaced, all new belts and a service for good measure running like a dream now. All done...

    Well aware of the issues regards local garages, if it goes pearshaped i'll go to Birchdown, that's the plan. Not seen one for that price and i've looked in a few places. No need to get annoyed pal, only someone asking a question on a internet forum! chill baby.

    Nah it's made a miraculous recovery ;) according to the experts it only needs a few things doing to it, just want to know if this will be one of them. Look normal or not fellas? need an answer just on this then i can crack on! p.s looked at a complete new engineS, cheapest i seen was £850.00...

    Alrite guys. Trying to find out if it's normal or not, mechanic just laughed when he seen it! said it's almost a link slack. Any ideas? he wants me to buy a new oil pump and whatever that chain is called, trying to find out if i can avoid that but if that chain aint right i'll get it all...

    Getting the local Garage to do mine after a long and hard think about it! they assure me they have the proper tools - they had to borrow them from another Garage!! I am getting my Timing belt changed along with the Dephaser Pulley and the Oil Pump and also the Chain because it's way too slack...

    Bump! Anyone? need this asap as the Garage has had my car for a week now and i said i'd get the dephaser to him this week. Can anyone do one or know where to buy one for less than £170 otherwise i'll have to go to my local Renault dealer. Ta.

    You reckon it's a new 'un? he's a genuine bloke but he's the first to admit that he's not familiar with this engine, could he be mistaken?? I hope it aint a new engine because i really didn't think it was that bad.

    Cheers guys, yep sensible advice that really. I did actually contact Andy at Birchdown whilst the Garage had it. I will look into taking it there. It's just a pain as the Garage that has it now has had it since Tue and has took it to bits trying to sort it for us, even though they haven't...
