Thought I'd throw this in just to show those that may not have seen it. First time I'd driven the Cup on track on the BCs . Very happy with them as I wanted them still soft enough to use everyday, as well as for the hillclimb events. Standard power, limited sensible mods and with full interior...
Little update, have taken the plunge and will be hillclimbing this year too but in my 172 Cup. Have recently had it looked after by @MicKPM and spent a bit on fresh suspension parts and a set of BC coilovers, trying to eek out a few tenths on the hills. I have sworn to only compete against...
With regards to the vote, I really don't think many would have tried all three yet. A048s are the most expensive so you'd expect them to be the best but most club racers only go with the Dunlops as they are the "in" tyre. 888Rs are supposed to be marginally better than 888s. I know some racers...

No problems, drive up on my wet tyres, change them if required. Fortunately Tony offered the use/services of team Burpspeed but I was managing ok before that. Just stored items in a big bag when on track. Whilst having all the extras makes it easier, it is possible to race on a very tight budget...
Last year I competed in Tricolore's production class. I am looking at moving up to Production Plus but also entering some of Classic Touring Car Racing Club's Pre05 Championship too this year. That is halfway between the two lower Tricolore Classes as it is essentially production class with...
Depends what type of competition you are doing. Circuit racing, they do need to be plumbed in and discharge into both cockpit and engine compartment as a minimum and be accessible from driver's seat, as well as an external marshall's pull. Rallying also requires a handheld for co driver. You can...
